We paid for accommodation and Dinner and a cooked breakfast The first night Dinner was between 7pm and 8pm the second night 6pm and 7pm which we only found out by accident. Some other guests arrived at 7.00pm and were turned away. Breakfast was good on the first morning and the dining room was shut on the second morning it was said there was continental breakfast, but it was very poor. The excuse was as there was no coach tours booked in they didn't supply breakfast to the remaining guests.

Prestwick is a beautiful little place.

Prestwick is a beautiful little place. The main street is full of life, lots of nice shops, good choice of eating places, love the vine and the lido also the wee cafe that does senior citizen lunch, all home cooked, delicious served by friendly staff. It's a wonderful place for walking,I love it, the prom and the dunes. Don't change anything about it apart from cleaning the beach.

The Adamton Country House is an absolute disaster.

The Adamton Country House is an absolute disaster. Bathroom was disgusting, used soap on the side of the bath. Mould on the side of the bath. Spillage at the side of the toilet Pink, not a cleaning fluid. Floor in the bathroom sticky. I didn't have a bath or a shower, left about 8. AM. Went home to have a bath. Food was disgusting, not up to temperature, some items on the menu were missing. No vegan options. No list of allergins listed. I. E celery, nuts , crustaceans, soya, wheat, milk etc etc etc

We just went initially to watch planes at preswick airport.

We just went initially to watch planes at preswick airport. That was amazing seeing military and other aircraft coming in and taking off. But I loved the overall fact that it’s the only place Elvis came to in the UK. and we stayed at the adamton hotel where, Elvis went and made a call to Priscilla, prior to them getting married xx there are a lot of shops. But not a lot of local ones x

Prestwick is a clean town with a very good selection of shops, cafes, pubs, hotel accommodation, holiday flats , churches and the people are very friendly and helpful. It also has a great beach and promenade with good soft clean sand which has two cafes to sit at and have an ice cream etc. There is also a grass area beside the promenade which is great for adults and, children to have a picnic or to sunbathe. Prestwick also has a lovely park and play area for children close to the town centre. It’s also very close to Prestwick Airport for travellers and a few minutes drive to Troon and Ayr.. If you are a golfer Prestwick has great golf courses also. All round it’s a lovely town with all the amenities you need for a great comfortable and enjoyable holiday or place to live.. Excellent!!

Wonderful accommodation, Linda and Linsey were exceptional hosts, providing a homely Scottish welcome. Linda was very kind to rescue a fashion disaster on my part, going above and beyond to make my visit as pleasant as it was. The bedroom was clean and well kept, as the rest of the house was. Very much a no-fuss stay that is highly recommended for any solo travellers or couples travelling to Ayrshire. Although only a short stay, I will definitely pop by if ever in Prestwick again.

The Golf View exceeded my expectations. Neil and Alison couldn't have been better hosts and were extremely friendly! The location of their property is in a great location and close proximity to everything you want and need. I stayed in the triple en-suite overlooking the golf course. The room was spacious and it had the largest beds and bathroom I've ever had in Scotland. Everything about the property was fantastic and I will absolutely be a repeat customer.

Unfortunately only stayed due to proximity for airport for my son early morning. Also he had a leg injury which although we had a walk around a little of the lovely gardens area we just visited outside hotel and when back he bedded early and i just chilled with tv. But would stay again if in area and got good price and checkout more of hotel facilities. and be better able to give judgment

This was a grand hotel which has been allowed to run down. We had a dog and they accepted dogs but we were moved to an inferior room to that booked because of the dog. We were not forewarned about this or we might have tried elsewhere. There was only one person on duty at the weekend during our stay. He and she were very friendly and helpful
