The room was huge. Bigger than a London one bedroom flat. The bed very comfortable. Also it was very quiet. Also being a Wetherspoon makes it very convenient for early and quick breakfast.
Situated just off the A30 in Camborne, the 3-star Tyacks Hotel is a charming 18th-century coaching inn in the centre of Cornwall’s mining heritage area. It offers home-cooked meals and friendly staff....

It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the whole region by car, because it's very central. There isn't much in Praze an Beeble itself ie it's not a place with shops and cafes, it's just residential with a pub, a convenience store, a pasty shop and a Fish and chip shop. We wanted to have a meal at The Croust Hut which is nearby but it closes mid afternoon and we always set out in the mornings to return late afternoon! So the only choices for dinner in the evening were nearby pubs where we found the food choices very stodgy (fish and chips, chicken curry and rice. etc etc...)

A nice sized village with a Pub, shop, and a Chippy.
A nice sized village with a Pub, shop, and a Chippy. everything closes early but Camborne is only a short drive away with plenty of takeaways and larger supermarkets etc.
Location is a fantastic base for exploring the furthest south and west of the UK. Lizard point and lands end are easy drives as well as Penzance Falmouth and St Ives.

The village should get 11/10:it was on a convenient cross-country cross-roads:close to many towns:it had a doctors-surgery,a shop with a post-office,a fish and chip shop,a pasty shop,a village-green and a friendly pub that did meals.
A very central location for Helston/Hayle/St.Ives/Camborne/Marazion and Penzance. (All with visitor needs).
