The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space to relax and make yourself feel at home. The shared kitchen area was also a lovely addition to our stay. We had a roast dinner at the pub and that was excellent too.

Pontyclun and the surrounding villages are set in some of the most fabulous countryside in Wales. Brilliant places to eat with options for all tastes and budget. Walks are fantastic and the people are lovely. Highlights are The Miskin Arms a beautiful restaurant, La Luna in Talbot Green a great bar restaurant and Castle Mynach on the main road from Llantrisant. The local Community Councils at Pontyclun and Llantrisant were very helpful and gave us advice on where we could go for coastal walks. Alison at Llantrisant copied a walk from a guide book for my husband and even wrote directions on it so we could find a free car park for our hike.
