I liked the location of The Black Bull, it was close to the city, the railway station & the bus stop was right outside. Although the pub was busy there was not much noise. It was very clean not just the room but the shared areas (hall stairs & landing & shower room)

Location was ideal for what we needed, low cost but had every thing you need- comfy bed and a locked door! The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, facilities are just what you need! Very cosy and slept brilliantly!

The bedroom was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was a good size. Water pressure excellent. Bath as well as shower over the bath was very welcome, although the bath is quite narrow. The towels were amazing!

Only stayed the one night but would have been happy staying longer. The studio room provided everything we needed. The breakfast basket had a great selection, allowing us to eat at tea time as well as the following morning. Perfect setting in a lovely little town with a few attractions in the area. Easy access to barrier entry car park. Extremely clean from the communal areas to our room. Would definitely recommend.
