I have visited this hotel several times in the last 6 years. The rooms are always well prepared and clean, and the beds comfortable. I thought that the breakfast service this visit was better than before. There was a good fast service and a pleasing selection.

Incredibly clean in the bedroom and bathroom, quite exceptional. A great shower space too. The room size (we were in "Paris") was extremely generous. All of the furniture was solid and well designed.

-Great location
-Helpful staffs
-The fact that you can see the cathedral from your window
-When the fire alarm went off at 1 am, a staff came upstair to wake everybody up, explain the situation, and apologized right away when it was turned out to be a false alarm. After few hours, a letter delivered to the room apologizing for the fire alarm going off falsely, explaining the reason why it was triggered, and offering a free breakfast as a compensation. The problem-solving process was very swift and transparent, and I was not even annoyed that much because I would rather wake up to the false alarm than die in my sleep because of the fire. Thank you to all the staff members who were working that day.
The house was perfect. Beautiful setting and very well kitted out with everything you would need. The owner was helpful and close by.
We would definitely stay again and recommend Petham Hide for a family or Adult stay. The bedrooms were beautiful.
Disabled facilities were good.
A very peaceful area. Pretty village.
The grounds around the house were great for the children.

Petham is a good base to visit many very intersting places...
Petham is a good base to visit many very intersting places in the south east of Kent. We should mention that this area contains many quaint villages which seem to have been untouched by time for centuries. Long may this continue for the future benefit of many.
