I have stayed in more expensive hotels nearby and this has everything they have and more. Fantastically equipped clean rooms. There was a desk for me to work at. The staff were also excellent, especially the young man who checked me in, who was extremely helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful wooden lodge ,we was allowed our puppy in with us , other gueats had tent pitchs and was asking us about the lodge as it was amazing . We ate at a lovely cafe called cobblers as it had a cold covered court yard for our puppy as it was the hottest few days in a long time. Also at a dog friendly pub called The Royal oak - homemade lasagna was well worth the money staff in pub friendly infact everyone we bumped into was friendly. If in area would def stay again and def reccomend it ,no children allowed so very relaxing .Julie an Gary the owners are lovely
