Lovely beach with amazing views across the River Mersey and into Liverpool. Friendly people and also plenty to see and do there with also a supermarket (Morrisons) and other shops including Iceland and Home Bargains and plenty of food outlets including Greggs and Subway as well as other cafes and places to have fish and chips. I would highly recommend New Brighton to others and I am already considering going back there again later in the year!

Great walk along the Egremont Promenade followed by a Mersey Ferry trip from Seacombe to the Pier Head. Alternatively, a walk along the New Brighton Promenade past Wallasey Village to Leasowe lighthouse makes for a pleasant stroll. Pop in to the Pilot Boat Hotel for a meal and a chat with the locals over a drink or two.

A really lovely place to stay, clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation. Just 3 minutes walk from two great pubs, both of which served food. Close to several restaurants and a car-free promenade. 20 minutes walk along the prom to New Brighton Marine Parade where there was entertainment including a theatre, bowling, multiscreen cinema, historical fort, bars and restaurants. A great place to visit for a short or medium break. Plenty of road parking space , unrestricted and fee 24/7 plus easy access to Liverpool.

New Brighton is a quiet residential town, a past seaside resort with just enough of the seaside resort aspects remaining to make it a great place to visit. New Brighton has its own tranquility, it just seems so quiet compared to other towns and cities and yet there is enough going on to make it worth visiting. New Brighton is on the other side of the River Mersey to Liverpool which is easily reached by bus, train or ferry.

New Brighton has a great feel good factor and the local people are very friendly. Lots of good places to eat and drink and fabulous views, parks and places to walk. There’s a sense of history and heritage which makes it special.
Our accommodation was a self-catering apartment, and our host Roger had baked a loaf for our arrival, an unexpected and very pleasant welcome. Milk, instant and real coffee, and breakfast cereal were all provided, and we were offered top-ups for any of these. There was a group of three restaurants in one direction and two pubs in another direction (one doing very good cheap food). And 15 minutes walk into New Brighton brings you to a plethora of eateries and drinkeries.
The perfect base for my sister & I to revisit our days growing up around Wallasey & New Brighton. The apartment was well appointed, homely, clean & very comfortable. Our host Ken, was always very obliging especially in preparing for our arrival by setting up the sofa bed for us. A very pleasant stay & rest assured we will be booking here again when we return for our 'family day' again next year. Thank you Ken.
Situated in the heart of the Victoria Quarter and surrounded by all the culture it has to offer, The New Brighton Hotel is a 5 minute walk to the promenade and beaches.
The staff were attentive and professional, and the hotel bar was excellent.
The bedroom was very comfortable and had everything you need for your stay, and the bed was really good.
The private entrance/ exit was a bonus.
Excellent communication, simple check-in, lovely property, everything and more provided, great view, good parking, very friendly and polite hosts. Bed was so comfortable I had some of the best sleeps, also attributed to how quiet and peaceful the hotel / area is. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here so much I extended my stay by another week.
Very tidy and clean. The room was perfect for what we needed and wanted. Easy check in and very helpful staff. Cleaners were prompt and when asked would provide extra towels if needed. The bed was nice and soft and I couldn't fault this room. If you are after a nice hotel that's cheaper than Liverpool, this is the one for you
lovely old house in a lovely area of new Brighton. bathroom and kitchen were perfect for us. the. rooms were not warm so we were glad of the heater at night. Ken was so hospitable and left fresh tea, milk and a welcome bottle of wine. he was on hand with suggestions. he was incredibly flexible and accommodating.
Property very roomy and well equipped for our stay. Apartment spotless and even given welcome treats on arrival. Owner left appropriate contact details if we had any issues, which we didn't. Lovely place and recommend if staying in New Brighton.
The bread the hotel owner baked for our arrival was lovely! The little garden with a patio outside our room was nice! The walk from the hotel to/around the beach was very pleasant.
Very nice, clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to New Brighton train station, where you can get a train to Liverpool every half hour and takes about 25 minutes
Brilliant hotel in a great location. Breakfast was first class and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first visit to New Brighton and we loved it.
