The staff were more than happy to help with all of our requests. They asked us to check the set up of the room before we went up, and when we came down to let them know the sofa bed wasn't set up, they sorted it out very quickly with no grumbles.
The man who checked us in (I didn't get his name) was extremely friendly and really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. He was brilliant.

The location was fine for us as we were visiting the NMA which we do every year at the beginning of May.
We will be looking at booking for next years trip as soon as the dates become available.
May even look into riding the bikes down next year as the car park seems to be quite secure.
Food in the pub was grand as usual.
Stayed one night to break a long journey. Comfortable rooms and beds, free parking and wifi. Noisy "family orientated" public spaces - Alton Towers is nearby. Bar is expensive and restaurant isn't a restaurant - think pub grub - and is also over priced. Usual crowd smoking at the main foyer entrance. Breakfast is £20 pp and pretty good.
Pity really as a lot of money has gone into the interior design and decor and the estate is lovely and has some nature walks - not that anyone uses them.
