The hotel was lovely and clean and very welcoming. The layout of the rooms we had was brilliant with great use of the space allowing plenty of room to move around. The staff were really pleasant, helpful and great to chat to, making us feel really welcome. There was a good continental breakfast selection along with tea, coffee and toast made fresh. Whilst the village is quite small there was a good selection of restaurants around the area, some within walking distance, some a short drive. Also a 20 minute walk and you arrived at the beach, which made for a nice stroll after dinner.

Great apartment, in a quiet location, dog friendly and lovely dog friendly beach within five minutes walk. The Cliffs is excellent for dinner and Cafe Porthdinllaen is fab for breakfast, both less than five minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment had everything you could need for a holiday rental, it was clean and very spacious. We would not hesitate to book again.

Great access to the Wales coastal path, we ate at the Cliffs that was good but not fantastic. The bus service was adequate. On my next visit I would avoid Ty Coch, it was a little noisy, but Ideal for younger folk and families

There’s not a lot in the village itself (a very expensive shop and petrol station and the golf course at the bottom) but the beaches and the walking options are lovely. There’s also a brewery and pubs in the village before so be prepared to walk or drive if you need anything.

Nice beach, with Ty Coch Inn - the world's 3rd best beach bar! There is also a golf course - the weekend I stayed was very sunny so the golf course was very busy, although it was still very windy. The Cliff is a great place for food/drinks in the evening. Great to have a walk along the coastline, I completed the North Wales Pilgrim's Way that weekend. Lots of seals too!

Because of the 2019 Guardian article on 20 Best Pub Walks and discovering that my father holidayed in the area every summer, we decided to base ourselves near the famous Ty Coch pub and found the brilliant Yr Hen Felin (The Old Mill) B&B nearby. Did lots of lovely walks and also went to Harlech, Abersoch and Port Meirion, so fitted a lot in over our four days there.
