I loved the location, the size of the room and facilities, lots of quiet dog walks literally from outside the door. The pub was very close to Midhurst and other very pretty villages so eating out was not a problem, just a shame that I would have occasionally eaten in the pub restaurant but it only served Thai food which I enjoy but not every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful I shall definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

We stayed just one night to attend a wedding at Cowdray House which was perfect since it was only 2 miles away. The host, Jack was very helpful with parking nearby. Everything went smoothly, no hitches. Couldn't fault it!

The owner was very helpful and friendly. She offered us coffee and pastries in the morning, though it wasn't included plus she generously gave us a lift to the start of our walk. She was a very fascinating person.

We enjoyed walking around Cowdrey park and looking at the superb scenery. Midhurst is a nice place to see some quirky shops and some nice places to eat. Reason for visit was to see our daughter playing Felicity in "Relative Values", a light comedy by Noel Coward which was produced by Midhurst Players at the South Downs Centre Memorial Hall.

Midhurst is a bustling small town with all the amenities/...
Midhurst is a bustling small town with all the amenities/services you might need for a self catering stay but is also tranquil and attractive with lots of great walks in all directions. There's lots more in easy driving distance (and, mid August. the roads were very quiet) but Midhurst is a bus hub so with a bit of patience/planningyou can do quite a lot of exploring by public transport if you prefer. The planet will thank you :-)
The apartment was perfect for our family. It is very tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. There was a bottle of wine on arrival and the flat was extremely tidy and very clean. The rooms were all very comfortable and well appointed including a large kitchen. The host Laura was always available to communicate via text and was extremely helpful and friendly. I thoroughly recommend The Loft Midhurst and we would happily stay here again.
This was an awesome flat! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and so warm and cozy. We used the fireplace (the wood was provided) and it felt just like home. The kitchen was well stocked for an aspiring cook, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal for walking into Midhurst and the view of Cowdray ruins was lovely. This far exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous stay.
Despite the car park being on the A272, the accommodation itself is usefully set back from that main road and is therefore pleasantly quiet. The room we stayed in (number 6) was clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and fun. The dinner menu was quirkily traditional (eg, potted shrimps, devilled lambs' kidneys etc) but everything was tasty and well cooked.
Fantastic apartment, centrally located. Spacious rooms, more than enough space for two. Kitchen was well stocked and having a washing machine was a bonus. Good heating and nice sunny rooms. Shops are a few minutes walk to supplies, only one flight of stairs. They also accommodated late check out for us! We will book again when in charming Midhurst.
A really charming period building right in the centre of Midhurst, very very clean, beautifully decorated. Couldn’t have asked for more. The owners sent loads of info about parking/getting into the building.
So lovely to just walk across the square to some of Midhurst’s cute pubs and cafes. An easy walk to Cowdray for the polo.
Set in a quiet location, the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We sat outside for the entire afternoon, sipping drinks and watching the small number of comings and goings between pub terrace and the woods opposite. Menu is Thai; tasty and well presented. The venue had adjusted extremely well to Covid challenges.
For us, the location is excellent being close to Midhurst and with easy reach to Petersfield and the other towns within the South Downs. The facility has a pub and Thai restaurant and the food is excellent.
The village the Hotel is situated in is pleasant to walk around in the evening or early morning.
Community run pub in a small village on the South Downs Way. Staff are lovely. The room was small but fine for me. There was a function in the bar/restaurant but the staff made sure guests of the hotel had a space in the bar to eat.
Nice cooked breakfast. would stay again!
Delicious breakfast and very comfortable accommodation in a private home. We were cycling and the host went out of her way and drive us to a local hotel for dinner, when we realized buses weren’t running (it was a public holiday).
We were given an upgrade as our original room wasn't appropriate for the price we paid. The hotel was very historic in parts and had a lovely pub and dining area. There also was a good sized parking lot.
The cottage is charming and in a wonderful setting. Very comfortable bed. Our dog had a wonderful time running through the fields. Great breakfast. Nice walk around Midhurst and the river when we left.
Lovely spacious room, very comfortable bed, the staff were amazing especially Charlene who went above and beyond collecting us from Midhurst as unable to get a taxi. Fabulous breakfast, we will be back
Really smart apartment, well located and equipped. Stylish. For 2 people it's very good. Local pubs and hotels on the doorstep right in centre of old town but in a quiet close with no through traffic.
I love this hotel. It’s in the centre of Midhurst which is a great location to visit. I used the spa this time and it was lovely. The beds are so comfy and I’ve always had a great night’s sleep here.
The Hotel was Lovely. We loved the decor and that it was in the centre of Midhurst.
The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comftable. This Hotel was perfect.
A very fine two bedroom cottage in the heart of old Midhurst: scrupulously clean, attractively furnished, and with an exceptionally well-equipped modern kitchen
