Glenesk Hotel, hotel in Marykirk

n the beautiful Scottish village of Edzell, boasting a sauna, a gym and a swimming pool, this hotel is situated at the foot of the Angus Glens.

I loved the personal and adaptable touch from the team. It was a quiet period for the hotel and I sat in the lounge before dinner where the lady in charge put the fire on just for me and made me feel really comfortable and well looked after. I even had my dinner next to the fire rather than sitting alone in the dining room, it was a very lovely touch and one I will always remember. Thank you.

Fantastic food, room basic but clean and could not fault it,...

Fantastic food, room basic but clean and could not fault it, Had a single bed which I knew before I stayed, if I staying again I would only stay with a double bed, The food made up for the single bed!
