An old fashioned hotel but clean room , comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Very good value for money.Breakfast wasn’t available, you had to go to a hotel just along the road. A very nice member of staff said the reason was the cook was on maternity leave.

We ate in the Orangery (a beautiful sunny room) rather than the restaurant, where our dog was allowed, Food and service were excellent. We were provided with dog towel, blanket and bowls (£15 per night for the dog) and parking was really close so it worked perfectly.

I liked the rural feel of the Belly being within walking distance of fields footpaths and woodland. As the rooms have exterior access and are separated from the hotel buiding, there is a sense of being close to mother nature. Whilst there is no garden, there is an outside eating and drinking area partly grassed and a children's play area.
The room was clean and tidy, what you'd expect to see in a hotel of this type. The staff were outstanding. On arrival, our booking had been lost (thanks Booking.com), but the duty manager immediately sorted it and we were given suitable rooms.
We had to leave before breakfast the following morning, but the chef was extremely understanding and made us a hot sandwich and hot drink.
Would stay again :)
Very warm welcome, host very friendly and accommodating, rooms spacious and comfortable, great shower, hot chocolate and biscuits provided, bike parking right outside the room in back courtyard. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the extensive bar range.
The rooms are very clean and everything is new. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is at the rear of a pub which serves a great selection of beers at reasonable prices. The location is quiet and very pleasant. The English breakfast is first class.
The room was clean but a little tired. Beer garden area was a bit noisy for a while. The breakfast was very good value. We had a meal in the Hotel and that was exceptional quality.
