The fridge full of snacks and great breakfast items around (fresh eggs and bread for the toaster with the egg-microwave tub was genius). Didn't expect a smart TV but always welcome! The farm life nearby and the Inn for food was delightful.

Stayed for one night after attending a funeral. Easy to find, not far from the M40. The 'double' bed was king-size, which was a bonus. On Saturday morning there was a wide choice for breakfast with a friendly member of staff to take our orders, and we were the only guests taking breakfast. My husband chose fresh fruit and yogurt followed by full English, while I chose muesli followed by smashed avocado on toast. We declined to have pastries or croissants (which could be heated for us) or a kind of creamy yogurty dessert in a glass. Another choice was American style pancakes, sweet and savoury.
