Really good value for money and lovely food. Breakfast was excellent! Some parts of the hotel were in need of a fresh lick of paint but considering it’s an old building it was very well kept. Our room was very clean however the carpet on the stairways were in need of a Hoover but there was some work going on in one of the rooms which may have been why. All food, the breakfasts and the dinner we had were cooked to perfection. The dinner was very good value. That the hotel serves lunches to seniors was obviously a very welcome gesture to locals. The bar was filled on both days of our stay. The room we stayed in was large and had a tv over the bath. Dog friendly in an area of Scotland with numerous walks right from the door.

The room was so clean and fresh, they rang before hand to check the beds required in the family room - so very helpful. Paul and all the staff were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful.
