The village has one pub but otherwise does not have a lot to offer. However there are some very good country walks and it is idealy located for getting around Constable country and visiting Colchester and Lavenham.

The hotel staff were all very nice always said hello . We had a lovely lady who served us afternoon tea she was just lovely. Afternoon tea amazing value my friend commented better than the Ritz. Sports bar food again couldn't fault staff again excellent couldn't go out their way to help. We wanted to decide our bill four ways and sorted it out.
