Believe me - this farm house has been the highlight of our trip to Scotland. In the end, we never wanted to leave. It's beautifully furnished, it's how you expect a Scottish cottage to be. Everything was super clean, comfortable and all in all, a very beautiful atmosphere. We even got provided wood to make a fire. The surroundings are quiet and you have nature right in front of your door. What can I say, a dream stay! Thank you so much for maintaining such a beautiful place this well
Saucy Mary's is a sea view facing hostel located in Kyleakin on the beautiful Isle of Skye close to the Skye Bridge. We offer accommodation for individual travellers, families and groups.

The food was delicious, staff pleasant, we did the NC500 and this was the dearest hotel on our 11 hotel and B&B stays. Our thoughts on the price compared to all the others was over priced.
Set in Broadford and only 12 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Scorrybreac B&B offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Large room with a king sized bed & couch & good views of the hills. Huge bathroom with bath & shower. Instant hot water.
Wonderful continental breakfast with a wide variety of foods. Bonus view of new lambs from the breakfast room.

The weather was terrible very high winds and very very wet but that didn't stop us from doing some sight seeing the only thing that the guest house needs a lick of paint inside and outside that would make the building more attractive everything else was fine for us and destination from Bridge to guest house sat nav said second exit but it was the first we would go back again thanks for having us Mr.+ Mrs.whitehouse

The location was just for a stop over on our way to Falkirk.
The location was just for a stop over on our way to Falkirk.
The bed had seen better days as the springs had gone and were very uncomfortable and noisy with little movement. The floorboards also were very noisy from upstairs and when moving around the room.

Scenery was nice.
Scenery was nice. You definitely need a car as a lot of walking and also you are depending on transport, which is unreliable. No shops only the Coop. If you have no car you have to walk over two bridges and back to get food. A few restaurants.Didn’t realise how far the guest house from the station was. We walked it in bad weather and it took us nearly 40 mins. It was definitely an experience. It’s a day visit place or a base to drive to other places.

The shops do get overrun by tourists often so can be difficult to get basic needs when coachloads of people are trying to get trinkets and tatt. But the views from everywhere on this island are stunning, no matter where. Kyleakin is just the first of many on your journey round.

This is not a bnb, just a bunk house, very poor, no standards, room grubby very dated, all needs upgrading, would not recommend to anyone, breakfast was well cooked, but next door in a bikers cafe! No disrespect to bikers, we also have a bike. Staff at the cafe welcoming..but its just a hostel!
This hotel is a little gem! The location is absolutely stunning, out on a little limb in the corner of Skye and surrounded by water, the views are incredible and it is absolutely silent in the area. So peaceful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room very comfortable, especially the memory foam pillow which I loved! Lovely breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room overlooking the water. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely little hotel.
We arrived at White Heather Hotel and were blown away by the location. Right on the water with the most beautiful views, the owner was so friendly and offered us all kinds of recommendations on places to eat (even offering to book us a table as it can get very busy) and offering local tips on places to visit. The breakfast was exceptional and the bed was SO comfy! I would highly recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visiting Skye!
Peter was a great host communication was good ahead of arrival , Peter showed us around the unit .
The accommodation was really comfortable. Great powerful shower own outside space allocated parking .
If you like coffee the coffee machine was a great added touch, tea
Coffee was complementary.
Great location and was perfect for our short stay at the Isle of Skye .
The hosts were extremely warm and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The living room and kitchen were well stocked and extremely comfortable and spacious with outstanding views of the isle of Skye. The bedroom was large and the funky bathroom with giant tub was a dream to relax in after a long day. We had a beautiful meal nearby at Saucy Mary’s.
The location by the Skye Bridge is exceptional. Breakfast was a buffet and quite good although we came in to the debri of a big bus tour party. The rooms are quite small. Car parking is at the back and adequate. You can easily walk around the village and along the sea front. There is a pub fairly nearby. Excellent photo opportunities generally.
The rooms were adorable and clean. Our only regret is that we only got to stay one night. The complimentary snacks were appreciated, particularly the marshmallow treats. The location is great, as soon as you cross the bridge to Skye. We were also very pleased with the nearby legend of saucy Mary restaurant suggested by our hosts.
Idyllic location for venturing on the Isle of Skye. A short walk from a historic castle ruin. The cottage was very roomy with ample facilities for families large and small. It boasts a fabulous view down to the little quay. There’s natural sounds at night with unspoilt night skies.
Very clean and warm, with a great shower. There isn’t much open in Kyleakin or Kyle of Lochalsh at the moment, so the microwave and cutlery etc in the lounge and complimentary breakfast cereal in the room was greatly appreciated. Good value for money.
Gentleman on reception was extremely friendly and helpful and informative.
The rooms were in the guest house down from the main building, very quiet and the beds were comfortable and spacious.
Good value for money on the Isle of Skye.
The location was great for us since it is right at the edge of isle of skye, which made it easier when returning the next day. The complimentary breakfast at the restaurant was also good and helped us start the day with a full stomach ;)
Great location. The hotel has coach trips staying so can be busy checking in but go for a walk to let any queue clear. The rooms are adequate for an overnight stay. The hotel appears to struggle turning a large amount of rooms around.
Janette was a very welcoming and helpful host. The location is great allowing easy access both to Skye itself and to the mainland. The house provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay including dishwasher and washing machine.
Really nice and comfortable house, clean, very well equipped and maintained by kind and friendly hosts. Good location from where the entire Isle of Skye as well as the Lochalsh region can be reached for day tours. Fast wifi.
We loved the Skye Backpackers! (It helped that we met some pretty cool people!) The staff was helpful and friends. The location was great. Comfortable, cozy, and relaxing space. Would definitely stay again!
It was a cheap hostel, so I'm not expecting the best of conditions. Nevertheless, it was clean, people are friendly, with a great location and view to skye bridge, in the lovely place of Kyleakin.
