Beautiful property in a stunning location, rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and the views were stunning! Vicki was a great host, and the breakfasts were incredible, just what we needed before a day of hiking. It was a lovely touch coming back in the afternoon to home-baked cakes. Would recommend this property to anyone coming to Skye.

The location was perfect for us as we were heading to the ferry port which was a few minutes away in the car. Angus was always available if we needed to ask anything.

Excellent location and food (the reason for our trip). I had been there to eat before but never stayed. The room was recently refurbished and well decorated but was really small. I mean tiny! Not a problem as we only stayed the night arriving late and leaving early but not suitable if you want to sit and read - you need to use the bar for that.
Beautiful scenery, great areas to walk, near the sea.
Beautiful scenery, great areas to walk, near the sea. We visited Kilt Rock, took photos of the waterfall. great base, quiet. Nice romantic getaway.
The pot holes on the isle of Skye are really bad in places especially when travelling in the dark as they are hard to see. we were aware that this is an issue so drove very slowly in the dark.

Everything was fantastic, the cottage was in a stunning location with amazing views from every window. The cottage was extremely clean, tidy and really cosy with a great wood burning stove. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of things that can more often than not,not be there in self-catering properties. The hosts were brilliant, very welcoming, friendly, helpful and informative about the local area.

The facilities were very adequate but not well maintained.
The facilities were very adequate but not well maintained. There were a number of issues that, since we are familiar with tools and technology we were able to address some of the issues to meet needs. There clearly was a need for updating the facilities and resupply the kitchen.
The cottages are in the country with no restaurants close, so we did our own cooking. Skye is not a large island so traveling to another location is not very time consuming with the exception of single lane roads, requires slow going. Staying in Portree or other parts of the island nearer restaurants or pubs would have been more pleasant for us.
