The breakfast was very good. Unusually for me I had a cooked breakfast (full English) and the poached eggs were very nicely done, the bacon was thick and not surrounded by white residue (it was good quality). Breakfast was served in the bar which, at 08.00, did not smell of ale. Well done on that point. Cleanliness was excellent. The bar must be commented on. A decent choice of cask ales, all well kept and served with a head on. The bar was very busy so that tells you a lot.

Kenilworth Cosy Garden View Apartment, hotel in Kenilworth

Kenilworth Cosy Garden View Apartment offers accommodation in Kenilworth, 200 metres from Kenilworth Castle. Guests staying at this apartment have access to free WiFi.

Beautiful, well appointed apartment. Located across the road from the castle which was the focus of our stay. Daniel, the owner is extremely helpful and quickly ironed out the glitch in our stay - namely the people staying in the additional apartment had taken both sets of keys, despite very clear instructions to leave the other set in the key safe.

I Spent the day at Stoneleigh Park, where I judged dogs and thoroughly enjoyed my day at The Kennel Club Building. The hotel was a short drive from Stoneleigh Park, which I understand hosts a variety of activities, shows & exhibitions. I can highly recommend the hotel which is also very dog friendly for those exhibiting at Stoneleigh Park.

We were there to visit our granddaughter who is at Warwick University, we found good restaurants and bars in Kenilworth very acceptable and close to where she is staying, which meant that we could actually walk to them.

Stayed in the quaint and very picturesque old part of town which was delightful. Good selection of restaurants and pubs and attractive walks in the village and down to the castle. The town commercial centre is not as attractive and looks a little tired. Overall though I would happily recommend a short stay (in the old section).

I'm a mobility scooter user so access is important to me - what was especially great about this hotel was there were no [heavy] doors between the front automatic door and our room, this makes a big difference to me! The hotel was also dog friendly which another huge plus. We had an accessible room which was spacious and had a wet room shower, perfect. We had breakfast in the area by the bar so the dogs didn't have to be left in the room and this was fine for us as it's a pleasant enough area for breakfast.

Was a lovely, quaint, apartment. Bonus was that bigger, cheaper and much more homely than a hotel room. They even have a coffee, tea and sugar just, so you don't need to take your own (unless you need milk).
