Staff were all amazing! Super friendly, helpful and attentive. the place has a great vibe and the bar / restaurant area is super cosy and was great to have a drink at while we waited for check in (they even had a log fire going!). The breakfast was delicious - although I wish there was an option for a smaller or medium sized cooked breakfast as the "big breakfast" was a tad too big Super good value for money at the price we paid and we would happily stay there again.

It has a really good high street with a variety of shops.

It has a really good high street with a variety of shops. Lots of coffee shops and pubs. The museum is really interesting and often puts on events for children. We went at Halloween half term and they had a spooky event; craft, hunt the skeleton parts or Wally and wild birds (owls etc) on display outside. Victoria Park is lovely and has a play area and a café.
