The hotel was perfectly nice. Decent parking.

The hotel was perfectly nice. Decent parking. The rooms were clean (although too hot for me). Shower door falling off and television did not work, but I would have overlooked this if the room arrangements had been satisfactory. I booked 2 rooms and requested one twin. We arrived to find 2 doubles Rooms. The rooms were changed around but on the 2nd night of our stay we returned to find another couple occupying (in bed) one of the rooms leaving us with one bed short for the night. Perfectly fine hotel but terrible management.

Ibstone is a great place to stay, lovely surroundings and so close to the park and ride for oxford which is an amazing city. We walked around for hours marvelling at the architecture, it is by far the cleanest city we have ever visited . 100% will revisit. The Indian restaurant a few minutes down the road from ibstone is well worth a visit. Had absolute feast of a meal with drinks for four of us for about £60 total and took home doggy bags. Fantastic. Definitely definitely do the park and ride to oxford and check out everything there. The castle is beautiful and the museums. Even if you don’t go in anywhere it’s the most stunning city.. and you can wander and shop forever. Ibstone is very accessible and very close to everything you would need.

Just off the M40 in amazing countryside, the perfect setting for a weekend away with gentle hikes in the Chilterns; or an ideal night stop-off if walking the Chilterns Way, as it sits right on the route. There are extensive woods, rolling hills, deep valleys, a beautiful windmill and country pubs nearby. To the south of Ibstone the country roads and villages kid you that you could be in remote Scotland or Wales. Good food options in nearby Stockenchurch, pubs, fish and chips or local shops for self catering. There are some amazing looking gastro pubs in two close historic villages too, but we went for Indian rather than English cooking.
