We upgraded to Bear Lodge which was totally amazing. Loved the fire, huge shower room and beds were comfortable.
The hotel and its comfort are the main attraction.
The hotel and its comfort are the main attraction. There is a Waitrose and Sainsbury nearby and all the attractions are no more than 30 mins away so great as a base for Dungeness, Romney, Rye, Dover and Ramsgate.

You have the beach, a prom which is by the sea and runs to Folkestone. Then you have the canal for boating or a quiet sit in the shade, if you are energenic you can walk the whole canal . A bowling club, tennis courts, football , cricket and a lovely parade of shops what more could anybody want.

A pretty seaside town with fabulous shops.
A pretty seaside town with fabulous shops. The Royal Military canal provides a beautiful focal point and walk, before one reaches the amazing coastal walk literally on the edges of the sea. Easy access in and out of the town - close to Folkestone, Dover and beyond - regular buses serve the local area and the roads are easy to navigate. The town is full of stunning buildings like the Hythe Imperial Hotel which don't dominate, but enhance the town.
The staff are absolutely exceptional, especially at the front desk, amazingly kind, professional and courteous. I once arrived, had mistakenly booked the wrong night, they refunded me without question, booked me into another hotel (they were full) and called a taxi for me. When returning this time they were as good as ever, the bar staff are superb as well. Great location, spacious rooms, superb to have air con and a fridge, great value for money
Room was very clean and comfortable. Kettle, tea and coffee was provided and the two bottles of water provided was much appreciated. The bathroom was protlessly clean and very spacious. The toiletries provided was another lovely surprise. We paid extra for breakfast which was quite delicious. We would not hesitate to stay at The Swan Hotel again.
The staff was quick to respond when I arrived a little earlier than planned. The location is perfect for walks around Hythe; to the shops, cafes and the beautiful church as well as through the park to the beach. Parking is just around the corner (paid during the day).
the style and comfort and decoration off the hotel5 star the staff very polite room had lots extras dressing gown slippers ,and the stay included our own private buggy to drive around the park
and the room nice and warm in a frosty Jan
The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, it was quiet but we were out of season. We had booked to be near Hythe High Street (for a friend's birthday celebrations) and the location was very convenient.
We love the peace and serenity of the Hythe. The location was perfect for us to catch our EuroTunnel trip the next day. Bonus! We were able to squeeze in 9 holes at the pretty golf course adjacent to the hotel.
It is a good sized self contained cabin in a garden with views over the rooftops to the Channel. Car parking is available and Hythe high street with plenty of shops and restaurants is only a short walk away.
Perfect location for Le Shuttle. Walked into Hythe which was a lovely town. We had bikes on the back of the car and were able to store these safely overnight. It was so much nicer than a stay in a hotel.
The facility is right on the beach, and close to downtown, which is a pleasant collection of small shops. Staff was very helpful. The town is worthy h a visit. I’ll include this hotel on my next visit.
