Wall Eden Farm - Luxury Log Cabins and Glamping, hotel in Highbridge

Around 15 miles west of Glastonbury, the Wall Eden Farm - Luxury Log Cabins and Glamping offer accommodation for 4 in north Somerset.

Very nice holiday site with farm shop and bar. Yurt was surprisingly big inside, big 4 poster bed and pull out sofa for the children. TV, small shower room and seating made it a comfortable stay. Quiet location not far from Burnham and various smaller towns. Several pubs, cafes and restaurants close by.

Dunstan House, hotel in Highbridge

This charming pub offers comfortable guest rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

The whole package! We loved everything. We travelled from Australia and met my sister in London. We travelled to see our homes we lived in, in Manchester.and then to the Lake District. On to Dover then with the purpose of bringing our Mother ‘ home ‘. We scattered her ashes at the White Cliffs of Dover. We think Dunstan House was one of the best places we stayed in.

The Royal Clarence Hotel (on the Seafront), hotel in Highbridge

The Royal Clarence Hotel (on the Seafront) is the only hotel situated opposite the beach in Burnham-on-Sea. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the Hotel.

Stayed for two nights over Bank Holiday, the Royal Clarence Hotel is quite superb for it's cleanliness and presentation with private parking. The seafront view was excellent with as much tea and coffee as needed. The en-suite was nearly as big as the bedroom with a double shower, which was really appreciated after a rainy walk down the esplanade. Enclosed balcony was really nice just to relax in. Bed was comfortable with bedside lamps which worked - which is always appreciated. No meals are provided but you can use the dining room or an excellent range of cafe's and restaurants are within a five minute walk. All in all, we plan to return. Thanks to Nick and Ellie.

I did not arrive in time really to go on a visit to Highbridge. As I was only staying overnight on the way to Cornwall the hotel was situated just right and it was very comfortable, friendly, clean and the staff were exceedingly nice and helpful. The food was very good too.

If you wanted a cooked breakfast you had to pay an additional charge, so we didn't have one. Other B and B's provide a cooked breakfast. The breakfast provided wasn't exciting. Evening meals were priced too high for the quality of food provided. £9.00 for 3 linda Macartney sausages and a cup of basic mash, I not great at cooking but I think I could do better. Nice view, nice rooms friendly staff.

First impression of the Sundowner are misleading due to junk yard appearance, then you go inside and the appearance is similar. But you get a friendly and cheerful greeting and are shown to your your room. Comfortable bed, decent shower and television. We had room 6 which is a bit small but as it is only a bed and shower you need, very adequate. We had a lovely stay and the owners are helpful in any needs you have. Highly recommended for short breaks and location to main towns and cities of Somerset. Would stay again.

The Grange is a little Somerset gem. It met all our needs. What made this hotel 10/10 was the staff and owners, we were made to to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Good bed, shower and bath, enough room and superb views of Brent Knoll area. Decent food on limited menu and plenty of space in dining area and bar room. The atmosphere is exceptional, mainly due the hard work of the team of staff and management. Ample parking.

Was pleasantly surprised, not having previously stayed in a similar place – a house in the country providing hospitality as opposed to a hotel – that my stay there was enjoyable and the atmosphere was very friendly.
