Wasn't expecting lots because of some previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised with the suite I was given, and the friendliness of the staff. Suite was large, clean and had a spa bath and a shower. Full English was included in the very reasonable price,

It's a nice place. Quiet location. A nice room, with lots of windows, tastefully furnished. Fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Lovely pizza at lunchtime in the bar

Nice , clean, comfortable and well decorated rooms. Friendly staff and good location near M1 junction 31.
It was on the Southside of the M1....we didn’t know that...
It was on the Southside of the M1....we didn’t know that originally...as we were travelling north we had to go up to junction 31 and back down the other side! We were in room 009 executive double..we were at the back on the ground floor....with the widows open it was super noisy as it backs onto the onslip of the motorway. The room was big, clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely and the teabags were plentiful.

Fantastic value for money.
Fantastic value for money. The hotel is next to motorway services so there are lots of options for food/meals. The staff were amazing. Soo friendly and welcoming. My room was very warm. I went to reception and requested a fan. They got me one straight away. I took my dog with me. I am always wary of pet friendly hotels, due to dogs shedding hairs and the smell etc. (I am allergic to any dogs that shed hairs). I needn't have worried. My room was spotlessly clean and no smell of pooches. I had the best nights sleep ever. The bed was soo comfy. I will definately be returning again. A huge well done to all the staff for making mine and my pooch, Alfie's stay brilliant.
We were returning home from Scotland and this hotel in one of the service stations along the motorway suited very well the break in our journey. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space and the double bed was very comfortable. As the hotel is at the back of the service station, we did not hear much noise coming from the motorway. This is a very nice hotel and it is highly recommended.
Better than expected, and very well kept, the receptionist (Katie) was efficient, courteous and friendly, made you feel very welcome. Room was very comfortable and extremely clean. The hotel sits in its own grounds with a field next to it handy for dog walks. The services which is a short walk, couple of minutes away has kfc & Burger King and there is also a pet friendly pub 5 minutes away that do food.
How I and the team have been made out be lying and how the hotel appear to have managed to shrug any responsibility. We did not pay a lot for this accommodation but still expected to receive what we ordered as a minimum - I liked how this is not seen as a fair expectation.
Staff were brilliant. The room was good and clean. Considering it was a motorway service hotel, I dindt hear much noise through the night at all. Shower pressure was great and the wifi was really good as well.
The staff were all amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Lighting in the rooms was exceptional for a hotel room. It was quiet. Very large rooms, plenty of plug points, hanging space and a table and chair(s).
Rooms are very comfortable, the whole place is quiet and clean.
Staff members are absolutely welcoming and professional.
I travel with my pet, so I'm glad this hotel is a pet friendly place.
All of it. The staff are all so friendly whatever the time of day or night. As a budget hotel Days Inn is right at the top of our choice when travelling.
