The view from my room was lovely and it was very quiet away from the noise of the bar area. The service provided by the hosts was exceptional. The location of the property was ideal for where we needed to be the following day. There was a lovely local pub that did great food, we also got 20% off our bill for staying at this property. We weren't booked in for breakfast but we ended up having a light bite, all freshly cooked and delicious.

Well maintained. Could use patio and conservatory. Cheryl and Stewart made us feel at home.

We ate at a busy but friendly restaurant called 'The Hart of Hartford'. We went for a drink at the historic 'Red Lion pub' (bed and breakfast) which had two friendly hosts and was dog friendly. There is a lovely golf course which we visited as a venue for our friends wedding. Hartford would be a good base for travelling to Chester and Northwich.
