I had to travel by public transport at the last minute and it was a nightmare. Rochester has a 191 bus that has 3 different routes, I didn't know beforehand and went around in circles in the wrong direction. Not to mention a bus stop that wasn't clear that it wasn't in service. The town was very quiet, hardly any people around. Great space for walks by the beach. Not much to do if staying for a long period of time.

GRAIN looks rust belt, with power stations and big oil tanks, industry looks to be in a state of flux , but the people are friendly. Most of the shore line is mud , but there are beaches. Many wildfowl and waders, can be seen. Roads are clear.
