I like how close we were to the beach.

I like how close we were to the beach. The beach is vast and there are areas you can take dogs too. It was next to restaurants / amusements so very convenient location. The people always said hello when you walked past which was nice. The only thing if I was to visit again would be to stay somewhere else due to the narrow stairs and soft mattress beds. Otherwise I recommend this to everyone. You can even drive a few miles to nearby Great Yarmouth if you want more things to do.

Great for a “bucket and spade” stay with a beautiful beach & without a multitude of fairground amusements, though these can be found at Great Yarmouth, if desired, which is not far away. Plenty of cafés and coffee shops etc. Some free parking. Kind, friendly people. Easy for buggies/wheelchairs to get onto prom.

Great find just moment's away from the beach.

Great find just moment's away from the beach. The room was quite dated and old fashioned but very comfortable and perfect to have a rest. The host is very accommodating and friendly and didn't hesitate to recommend local eateries.

Gorleston is a lovely little seaside town, which is generally quiet but has enough going on to keep us happy, and there is plenty to do just a short drive away. The beach is great and has ice cream and food choices just across the road. Some nice hotels/pubs for the evening.

I loved the beach and the little town.

I loved the beach and the little town. It was just the right size for a little browse while on holiday. I walked around but if you have a car , it’s not far to other larger shopping areas. I spoke to several local people who were really friendly and gave good advice about where to eat/ coffee shops etc. We are in the Olive Garden one evening which was superb. Will definitely visit again.

It's a good place to start a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads - the Bell is a great pub with good food, with a useful phone app for ordering food and drink. It's odd that when you first look at booking.com the accommodation seems to be a cottage rather than a boat - perhaps they could do something about that.

The apartment suited our needs perfectly. Well equipped, very comfy bed. It’s not luxury but that’s not what we were after, it’s in a fantastic location, parking was easy to find. We enjoyed the privacy the apartment offered over a hotel. The host was very helpful with check in and check out. I’d recommend, for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area. We’ll definitely consider coming back if we venture to the area again.

Really lovely host. En suite bathroom. This is in a house not a hotel, and this is one of those times where that gamble pays off and is actually preferable! There's even a door to the guest room / bathroom area so lots of privacy. Host does everything she can to make you comfortable. Bed is really comfy. We even arrived to homemade cake!

Our needs were well met by our stay at this newly refurbished house while we visited friends and family in Gorleston-on-Sea with our 7 month old baby and little dog and 4 adults. Comfortable beds, well planned kitchen with circle of ceiling lights, and outside space. Baby loved the spotty rug. Close to the beach, pubs and High Road.
