Excellent breakfast beautifully served in our own dining room so we could eat and read the papers in peace - no requirement to make polite conversation as the occupants of the other room had their own very nice breakfast room- this was a big plus. Lovely building and wide ranging gardens with places to sit, Our hosts were kindness itself and we shall definitely rebook, perhaps for the larger suite on the ground floor as the access is easier. Kay and Doug ran their own hotel for many years and they know hospitality inside out.

Check in staff were great. Lovely location where swans were nesting just below the terrace. We were there for a family party and the food was very good.

Great location in a lovely old world village. Very close to pubs & restaurants. The building was remodelled & quaint. Breakfast was amazing with several options for a cooked breakfast.
