The Kinmel & Kinspa, hotel in Foryd

Conveniently located just of the A55, this family-run manor house is set within the peace and tranquillity of the rural surroundings of Abergele, North Wales.

Room was spotlessly clean, all the room facilities you would need were provided. Staff were very pleasant and helpful , lovely breakfast that catered for all tastes. The restaurant was very relaxing and the food was excellent. We didn’t get chance to use the spa but it appeared to be very popular.

The caravan park is excellent, but the caravan was basic, the blinds were of mixed sizes and designs, couldn't cook a meal because there was only one saucepan, the caravan was very clean but had a musty smell

The property was not clean, dirty dishes and rubbish on the cupboards. On the pictures provided on booking.com you can see rooms fully equipped with bed sheets and bath towels and when we arrived there was no bath towels (we had to buy them ourselves) and owner said that these are old pictures and it doesn't mean that everything on the picture will factually be there. Also, we had to pay extra registration fee for each person £18 so this is something we didn't expect either and we stayed there only 2 nights!

I wouldn’t stay in the same caravan again / dirty .

I wouldn’t stay in the same caravan again / dirty . The restaurant was dirty too , I had to ask the waitress to wipe our table and we left the food that was served to us . Even after quiet time , 11pm , people coming back from the clubhouse were very noisy and even knocking on our caravan .

Its a nice place they have a little fair for the children just over the road from the winkups site which we stayed on ,the club was open but due to covid people had to remain seated when possible there is a market on facing the fair which is on saturday and sunday very good to browse around lots of choices ,Palins site is a couple hundred yards away which i used to take my children to when younger ,we used their pool as the one on our site wasn't opening until monday they have a little pub on their site called the magpie and stump food very nice breakfast was delicious, all in all i enjoyed the stay always thought there was more on the strip as in little fairs and arcades but i am goinf back 25yrs so mayb it has changed but enjoyable never the less
