Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World, hotel in Edington

This English country house in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside has a luxurious spa and restaurant where every dish is crafted with the freshest local ingredients.

The location is fabulous, and the main building, rooms and spa clean and atmospheric. The spa is a strong point given the indoor and outdoor facilities. The food, once delivered, was superb and was the highlight of the stay, especially breakfast. If you are allergic to dog hair, stay away, as all the rooms (including bedrooms) are doggy friendly - a plus and negative!

The Old Bell - Warminster, hotel in Edington

Located above Wiltshire coaching inn that dates back to the 14th century, The Old Bell - Warminster offers bed and breakfast accommodation.

Our second stay at The Od Bell and it really is the staff that make it an enjoyable stay. They are all friendly and helpful. We needed to check out early on Monday morning and they organised sandwiches and fruit for our journey as we needed to leave before breakfast. We did have the cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was delicious. Bed very comfortable.

Lovely rural setting with local pub and farm shop nearby.

Lovely rural setting with local pub and farm shop nearby. Would advise prebooking Three daggers if you want a meal. Beautiful local church. There are several good NT properties nearby to visit as well as some pretty market towns and Bath. Plenty local walk for dog owners look available too
