I loved that the property was right on the seafront and in a good location for walks. It is stylish and the decor in my room was very ‘me’ - sea plants on the wallpaper, blues and greens, the bed linen had a similar ‘sea’ design and there were crabs on the cushions. It was also a really nice touch to have a door to the rear of the property from which you could see that you were right on the seafront.
Very good space for parking. Lovely breakfast room with really good food. I really liked the scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon.
The property was situated next to a pub that did good food and there were nice, regular ales there.
Very friendly staff at The Seals, Bacton. Also very informative about the area in general. It is just a short drive from Happisburgh with the wonderful lighthouse and the Horsey Gap Seals, which I loved.
‘Poppy Fields’ in Horsey was a nice attraction where you get to go back in time to the 2nd World War times, the gifts and cafe were really nice.
