Cherish End Guest House, hotel in Dunstable

With free parking, Cherish End offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. The 4-star, family-run guest house is situated in Dunstable, just 10 minutes’ drive from Luton centre.

I had booked online and thought that I had booked for bed and breakfast. It transpired that I had booked for room only which was entirely my mistake. Nevertheless, Carmel set to and made me breakfast. I was most apologetic and felt awful to have caused inconvenience but she was very reassuring and set me at ease.

    There for work.

There for work. Two great Turkish / Middle Eastern restaurants in town. Both on the high street, one near the middle of town with public car park to the rear of the restaurant, the other towards the north of the town, next to a tyre fitting centre, I park in the tyre bar after they have closed at 6pm. Both restaurants have good service, however both are in the middle to higher price brackets. NOTE::: Traffic calming / speed limit in town centre is 20MPH.

It doesn’t look like the pictures! Offering a breakfast!

It doesn’t look like the pictures! Offering a breakfast! Only to find out the restaurant / breakfast area was up for rent and a big sign outside! Not what it advertised, only stay if it’s the last chance saloon! And you fancy popping a slice of bread in the toaster in the morning! Up side there’s a Macy 100 yards down the road!! Good luck 🤞.

The Sat-Nav made no mistakes and took us into the car-park.This is the worst place I have stayed in.I have the bed bug bites to prove it !!. If i was a fighter pilot and had a full assortment of bombs and machine gun fire,I would irradicate this place off the map,and save the suffering of paying customers the onslaught of this place.

Used here for a game of football at wembley so just 25mins to Watford junction station car park and then 30 minute train to wembley. Dunstable itself is a bit run down and not really a tourist hot hot spot

I really appreciate staying in a newly furnished apartment while I stay in the area for work. Not many apartments in Dunstable and Luton so this is a great little gem. Had everything I needed while I stayed with Aimee. Great features, spacious and just had a really comfortable stay. Had allocated parking which I was worried I wouldn’t have + the kitchen, bathroom and living room were fully equipped with entertainment and amenities. Would definitely stay again with Huku Kwety

Excellent breakfast, surprised and happy that it had a bar and 24 hr food. Front desk personnel, wonderful, cheerful and helpful. Did note for a newish hotel some decor looking a little worn. Paint in shower on the ceiling peeling in corners. Using a flat paint will not hold up in moisture areas. The flat roof trim above the front doors could do with a power wash. These are nitt picking observations. Will stay again when visiting family thanks

Potentially quiet location, well positioned for the funeral I was due to attend in west Luton the following morning. The heating stayed on all night. Bathroom was exceptionally clean, though spoiled by an almost finished loo roll which should really have been removed. (Yes, there was a new one to replace it.) I did not order or pay for it, but a full cooked English breakfast would have been available if I had wanted it.

Had a restful and lovely stay at the hotel whilst doing building works to our house. Georgia was really helpful when it came to information and making us feel welcome. She also let me know I didn’t need to stay up in the room but also use the lounge area to work. The facility is really clean shower and wash facilities are all in good condition. If you need somewhere to stay guaranteed you will have peace of mind!

I stayed overnight at the Highwayman as I had a very early flight the next morning. This is a very convenient location for Luton Airport as it is just 8 miles away, a 15 minute drive. The room is well equipped and is next door to the pub. As the rooms are in a separate building to the pub and the windows are double glazed there was no noise problem.

The property is well situated for my needs when visiting Dunstable. it’s history is an added bonus to what always is a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the garden is a great place to sit and eat, if the weather is playing nicely. The whole experience is capped by a staff who are attentive, always helpful and friendly and welcoming.

Great location if you going to venue on the High Street or closeby area. Really clean rooms and fully fitted (communal) kitchen which is great if you rather just make your own meal. Decent size bed, and comfy (it is very depends of your liking) mattress. Very friendly stuff. Thank you for the great hosting.

The Guest House is just off the main high street in Dunstable and parking is around the back in a public car park (which is free from 6pm-8am). The room itself was clean, a good size and had everything I needed for an overnight stay prior to travelling from Luton Airport (only 20mins away)

Excellent place to stay before our morning flight, coming from the North West to fly from Luton, it wqs quiet, comfortable, we were 2 adults and 2 kids, 8yrs and 2yrs old. Mcdonalds is like 2 min away so even though they don't have a restaurant or eatery you can go to McD.

Staff were amazingly helpful and polite, the gardens were beautiful and location ideal for Dunstable. We ate at the hotel and the Superfood Salad I had was excellent, lots of gluten free options. The meal and drinks were reasonably priced and the service was faultless.

We were really put out due to cancellation of a connecting flight at Heathrow and all hotels in London overbooked. Old Palace Lodge was accommodating and lovely! They fed us late and we will go back to Dunstable just to visit Old Palace! Chris is amazing!!!!
