Tranquil Modern Countryside Bungalow, hotel in Dungannon

Located in Dungannon and only 32 km from Saint Patrick's Catholic Cathedral, Tranquil Modern Countryside Bungalow provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

This bungalow is set in its own grounds, and the description of 'tranquil' is perfect! We are a family of 3 adults and 2 children, and there was more than ample room for all of us. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the property was exceptionally clean. The owner, Ann, welcomed us and responded quickly to any messages sent prior and during our stay. The location was ideal for us visiting our many relatives in the towns of Coalisland, Dungannon and Cookstown. I especially enjoyed the views of the sunrises in the morning and the blanket of stars at night. We will definitely be staying again, thanks Ann.

My stay was in Moy, just south of Dungannon, so any comments I make are about the village. The village has nice pubs, interesting antique shops and the centre has a pleasing Georgian ambience, without being over-gentrified.

We never went into the town centre, my partner and I were more than happy to stay at parkwood relaxing. It's not very often we get to spend quality time together without our kiddies. We did try and book a table at viscounts resturante but unfortunately it was fully booked, so recommend to book in advance. Being fully booked is very reassuring . We did look at different park lands to go and enjoy a nature walk but never actually went, enjoyed relaxing at parkwood to much. If you like fishing there's also a fishery that you can hire out boats for the day. We tried the pg chips chip shop and li's Chinese that was just up the road, both were lovely.

Dungannon is not exactly a tourist Mecca.

Dungannon is not exactly a tourist Mecca. There's not a lot to see or do there, although there were a few interesting sights. We found that there are a lot of folks from East Timor. Apparently, with East Timor having been a Portuguese settlement, a lot of people emigrated from there to Portugal to get their EU resident status, and then moved to places like Dungannon (within the EU) where, unfortunately, many of them are living off of social services rather than getting jobs and contributing to the economy. That, in turn, creates a very visible "us and them" mentality throughout the community. We were pleasant with everyone we met, but found that darker skinned people treated us cooly and sometimes with suspicion due to the social segregation that seems to be present.

Booked Rosehill House for a two nights for family getaway. There were 7 adults and 4 kids with plenty of space for all. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, clean and relaible facilities. Marty the owner was very welcoming and hospitable. He opened the private bar for us on the first night and arranged for a local couple to make traditional bread and butter on the open fire, which was delicious and something the kids could get involved in. Easy access to Stewartstown, Dungannon and Cookstown for local shops bars and restaurants.

This is a super-cosy hotel in the beautiful village of Moy, with bang-up-to-date facilities, immaculate rooms and bathrooms clearly being maintained and kept up to date. I was delighted at how spacious the rooms are, sometimes in cosy hotels the rooms are a bit too 'cosy' but not here. The dinner was excellent, and the breakfast menu very extensive and varied. I wasn't surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff are, that was kind of expected, but they were all those things.

Brilliant place to stay. Exceptionally clean. We stayed in a great big family room with comfortable beds and even a kind of lounge area, 2 sofas, a TV with a dvd player and some dvds. Host was friendly, polite and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Lovely location close to Dungannon but out of town and peaceful. Felt very secure with a keypad operated gate. Check in and check out was so easy. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Staff were fantastic, friendly and went over and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We stayed on two separate nights over the weekend, they facilitated an early check in for us which was super useful! Rooms were clean, it was a budget hotel/inn and was perfect for our stay. The night porter helped us with the provided Travel Cot, he was very kind and friendly and the restaurant staff were fantastic.

A beem at the bottom of stairs my hubby hit his head on im appalled. We were only there 10 min an had to leave and pay for a hotel.im sure we would love a refund I was shocked. An will be complaint to the company for a full refund I was so disappointed

There was a coffee machine - disapointed there was no sugar sachets and milk sachets - the cheapest and most average hotels provide tea and coffee - a bottle of water would also have been inviting - its the little things nowerdays
