On checking in on Sunday 5th May approx 15:00 a particular receptionist who was wearing a mask was the most miserable greeter I have ever come across in all the hotels we have ever checked in. We were staying at the coach room. She quickly gave me instructions as to where they were. We ended back were we started. Why on earth would you put a couple in there mid to late 60's in a room so far away is unbelievable.

I rarely bother writing reviews, sorry. However..... the main reason I am doing is the staff. It's a YHA hostel so you expect cleanliness and decent facilities - this more than hit the mark there. The staff though were exceptional, wish I'd got their names - a young lass and a guy with a ponytail is all I can offer. Attentive, friendly, engaging, helpful etc etc etc.They didn't just respond but were proactively interested. I actually felt like a VIP! Hats off

The location was great! The staff had gone to extra effort to put me some balloons and banners in the cabin for my partners birthday. Very spacious, hot tub was clean! All in all a very pleasant visit! We will be back!

Beautiful l location!. Booked this place as was going to experience the Velocity 2 at Zip World. On arrival (given that check in was later than expected) it was arranged that I was able to pick up the keys for accommodation at the onsite restaurant!
Having got our key, we checked into our pod. I was immediately impressed with the whole environment!. Impeccably clean, and positioned within close proximity to a beautiful river.
Having checked in , we decided to go to the onsite restaurant. The food was exceptional. Had perfect steaks, cooked as exactly requested. The staff at the site were fantastic!. I can't recommend this place highly enough!. Will definitely be returning 👍👍👍👍.
