Beautiful setting. Peaceful grounds. Delicious breakfast served by cheery personable staff. Best bacon I've ever had and appreciated Bob the chef taking time to tell us about the history of the house.

Breakfasts were fine, the rooms were comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The water was hot and plentiful for baths. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The setting, grounds and gardens were exceptional. Whilst the rooms may be pricey in comparison to some venues, you certainly get what you pay for.

Everything was first class. Donna is amazing! Everything is catered for, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, kettle and drinks, hot water bottle. The bed was comfy. Loads of room . The decor is magazine standard with original art works. The shower room is clean and serviceable. The breakfasts are wonderful and there's even a juke box to listen to whilst you eat. Nothing is too much trouble.
It's right in High Street which is very convenient. Parking is behind the property .

Who knew the luxury that awaits up a wee close in Hawick, excellent amenities, sumptuous bedding and towels, very clean and comfortable, the hosts were very understanding when I had to cancel the first night due to a migraine, they ventilated the apartment before I arrived and gave us a later check out the following day

If you are looking for a quiet place that get you away from it all and has access to walks and areas of interest... go for it.
No shops... like at all... but as I said, there's access to other towns a short drive away and the bus routes are good.
The walking.... oh god.... beautiful. I went to wander and I got so much choice. Stunning places to see just a walk from the B&B. The locals were chatty and offered advice/suggestions on walking routes.
The cream puff cafe..... yum!!! I ate mainly in the Auld Cross Keys on an evening and the food was lovely. During the day it varied depending on where I wandered to.
It was a lovely little place I'd visit again.

Denholm is a lovely wee village around a central green.
Denholm is a lovely wee village around a central green. Great village pub, coffee shop, butcher & wee post office. It's an excellent base for a break in the Scottish Borders with walking, golf, cashmere stores & the famous Abbey towns all on its doorstep.
The owners and staff were very friendly / helpful and made us feel very welcome in the hotel. The food in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast was excellent and great value for money. Unfortunately it was only a very short stay but we will definitely go back at some later date.
The location was perfect for touring in the borders area.
Lovely village setting. Hotel is tardis like, appearing small from the outside but extensive within. It has a good sized car park behind. The room was warm and comfortable. The food was excellent, served in a very attractive dining room by very attentive staff.
Very friendly all round!
Absolutely spotlessly clean, comfy and cozy attic room, fabulous private bathroom, quiet, fantastic food, welcoming and friendly staff, no shop in Denholm but there is a McColl’s in Jedburgh and a Morrisons a few miles away too. Can’t fault the hotel at all
Hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely too especially the biscoff cheescake! Very pretty location too opposite village green.
Beautiful little village, great location for our work. The hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient and looked after us well. Great value for money: clean & comfortable.
Absolutely everything, this is exactly what a small hotel should be, warm, welcoming, great food, spotless accommodation, at a very reasonable cost.....superb.
All the staff were helpful and the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Food and drink were excellent and very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.
