I liked that the room was very clean, comfy and just what I needed after an enjoyable evening that too took place at The Crown. The breakfast having a lot of choice again was well presented , very tasty and set me up for my day ahead.

Al and Phyl were amazing hosts! They were so helpful with everything and making sure that our stay was as comfortable as can be. Everything in the room was perfect and cosy. The property is also only a short drive away from the Deal town centre or Dover. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to visit the east coast of the UK!

Deal is a lovely little seaside town. We love it! Almost everything is within a reasonable walking distance. Lots of cute little boutique shops open. The only thing really to note is that phone signal and mobile internet dignal isn't very good, we really struggled with being able to consistently get even any decent signal.

Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town.
Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town. It has some beautiful old lanes and houses. Very historic. Huge beach. Lots of coffee shops. Lots of individual interesting shops but needs investment to come to life. Shops and bars are mostly only open Thursday to Sunday. It has an abandoned feeling during the week. We really loved the fish and chips! There’s an amazing fish monger close to the town hall. It’s got a lot going for it but it’s not Salcombe or Southwold! It’s easy to get there on the train from St. Pancras station in central London. There are many holiday cottages. We saw people swimming in the sea in the morning. Cycling along the shore is popular and you can go for miles. There are things to do there. It’s got great possibilities. We really liked it.

I loved the people in this place so helpful and friendly, Recommend two cafes for a fantastic breakfast, The Kings Coffee and The Hog and Bean.
There are lots of charity shops and quirky shops to look around and a very popular bakery. On a Saturday there is a market. There is also a castle but unfortunately we didn't get round to visiting.

Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot.
Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot. Lots of independent shops, but there are two big supermarkets too. Lots of cafes! Interesting history very well described on clear tourist information boards along the seafront. Beware midweek in low season as most of the museums and both the castles are only open at weekends. That said, the coastal path is delightful and I spent my time (two weekdays in November) happily walking by the sea even though the attractions weren't open. Excellent public library with good local history section too.

We really enjoyed having walks along the seafront and along the pier.
Seafront pubs are great. Visit the Port Arms and Kings Head.
The August Bank Holiday Weekend Food & Drink Festival was a great place to listen to the live music and have a relaxing arvo.
Good Chinese, and Indian takeaways plus Fish & Chips near the seafront.
Easy trip to Sandwich Bay for low tide walks to check out the shipwrecks and B17 bomber remains.

A lovely area, with lots of great cafes and restaurants. Lots of wonderful little shops with quirky arts and crafts to see. A nice historical little town that was a great place to relax for a few days.
Would love to visit again in the Summer time.
My husband & I recently moved to England and needed a place to stay, while we found housing, car etc. The Anne Boylne escape was the perfect choice. The room was spacious, immaculate, bed was beautifully fitted with fabulous bedding. Our bedding, towels, etc was changed often. The owners, Vivian & Barry were ever so helpful during our 14 day stay. They made sure we were comfortable and looked after us very well. Highly recommend! Very comfortable cottage. Well maintained with nice furnishings. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of clothes storage space and hangers. Right in middle of Deal. Close to supermarkets, High Street and Beach. Excellent communication with owner. Welcoming card and box of chocolates. Lots of crockery, cutlery and glasses. Coffee maker with lots of pods. Smart TV with access to my Netfllix account.
The style of these rooms are gorgeous, finished very well and have everything you need. Great location for Deal beach and town, will definitely return!!
They are immaculately clean and well worth the money. We have stayed at many places in Deal, hotels and bnbs, we loved these rooms and will definitely recommend them.
All the rooms had been upgraded and our room was very comfortable. We also had a separate bedroom in our suite - we didn't use it but that too was of the same high standard.
The location of the hotel couldn't be better as it is on the sea front and is also ideally situated to visit all the other attractions in Deal.
close to seaward gallery, timeball tower, deal maritime and local history museum, kent museum of the moving image and walmer castle just a 5min drive away (all worth a visit). overall good value, friendly laid back staff, and your room is above a lovely restaurant that serve great quality food
Hotel ideally situated on the sea-front. Lovely fronted buildings with fresh hanging baskets of flowers, and plenty of outside seating for drinks / food. All staff were wonderful, very pleasant, very helpful. Bedroom was located at the rear & 2 flights of stairs up, so very quiet.
Loved the food and comfortable ground floor space. The design overall was lovely and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We had a baby in our party and while not strictly a family hotel everyone was super helpful. Would stay again if visiting Deal in the future.
Really good stay and paid for an upgraded room which was not massively more expensive. Great room, view and comfort within this room. I would definitely stay at this hotel and in this room again. I would highly recommend staying here if you are staying in Deal.
This B&B is at the end of a quiet close & room & bathroom immaculate. The owner, Steph, was lovely & laid on a fab breakfast in the morning. Was great location for us as only short walk to Deal Welfare club where we had a wedding reception to attend
The hotel was conveniently located. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The evening bar with the "honor system" was excellent with a good variety of drink available.
We liked the atmosphere of the hotel come Pub, our room looked over the sea, the hotel is a beautiful and well kept location everyone who passes or drinks on the open roadside tables takes photos it is ideal.
Glebe House is a beautiful house in a perfect location for exploring Walmer & Deal and the beautiful coast. Great local coastal walks. Historic Deal, quaint little streets with range of independent shops.
