Lots of great surrounding areas and all so picturesque.

Lots of great surrounding areas and all so picturesque. We stayed 2 nights but we could've easily found more to do and stayed a couple nights longer. If travelling by car, there's so many lovely areas down the river to travel to and just spend the afternoon walking and enjoying the sunshine. Bidford, Evesham, Broadway all lovely. All Things Wild was a fun morning for us as a family but you could spend all day here as it's much bigger than we thought with lots of play areas.

Very small but comfortable. No where to hang coats.

Very small but comfortable. No where to hang coats. No wardrobe. Comfortable bed. Fridge stuck out at end of kitchen even though there was a gap. Couldn’t open the frezzer. Cooker hob not clean in corners. Bathroom lovely but towel rail not working. Didn’t see owners and would of been a nice touch to have some eggs left as they have chickens . 1 pint of milk left. The thatched Tavern pub had amazing food had to drive as no foot path and it wasn’t listed in the visitors guide.

The information and reviews on the Booking.com site were...

The information and reviews on the Booking.com site were misleading. Only after we had paid (with no chance of cancellation or refund) did I manage to find details and reviews for Farm End apartment and I'd had to dig for them. They were not totally positive with many people complaining about the shower in the wet room (which we found OK). The picture is always of the largest building and the interiors of the two halves to be rented separately. I had to really hunt for the info on Farm End apartment. I would not have booked it if I had seen the correct details first. There are some really lovely pubs to eat at, but you can't walk to them unless you're in high viz clothing as there are no verges let alone pavements and the roads are narrow. We ate at the Butchers Arms at Mickelton, The Fleece Inn at Bretforten (National Trust owned - really interesting) the Thatched Inn (twice) and Snowshill Arms. All great. We visited Snowshill Manor, Hidcote Manor gardens, the Slaughters, and Chedworth roman villa. There are some really beautiful villages. Next time we go to the Cotswolds we have decided to stay in one of the small towns like Broadway, where you can walk to a pub or restaurant in the evening and there are some interesting shops.
