The location was okay. The shower was permanently on hot water. The receptionist was not helpful. She sent me a document that I should filled in before collecting the key. I could not access the document and was unable to fill it. Your receptionist wasted my time, try to solve this problem. We came for conference, the conference started on the 24 of August and she sent the form on 23 of august. she was calling me while I was in the conference. My phone was on silence and could not get through to me. The complication was just too much and I will not stay in your flat nor recommend anyone to. Thanks very much

Awful, no tv available, uncomfortable bed, no cups or cutlery, decor and condition in desperate need of help, shower head filthy, not able to use kettle safely and door lock temperamental. Not return.

We went particularly to spend a day visiting the Chatham dock yard. It was amazing in size and content. We learned a lot about its history and were fascinated in going on board three historic vessels there. The eating areas were very good and gave good choices even for Vegans! Plenty of parking under cover.

The Historic Dockyard was absolutely fabulous and well worth the visit. Give yourself the whole day to take everything in. There are some hidden gems, like The Command House' bar and restaurant and also the Hollywood Bowl restaurant and Bar.
Not entirely sure what to say about the town centre. Walking late at night through the town centre could be unnerving for some and during our 3 day stay we never saw a police presence on the streets. Lots of small groups of men gathered around.

Chatham town centre has various places to visit.
Chatham town centre has various places to visit. The Dockyard is a must see. There are various places to done and drink. We went to a fabulous Indian restaurant called the Sultan which provided many tasty local Indian dishes to satisfy it's diners taste buds. It's an easy place to get around by car or on foot. Walking through the town centre does not give the visitor much to fill them with excitement. Many facilities are tired, dated and you feel need regeneration. Hopefully in the future this could be rectified to show off more of the Maritime history the town is noted for.

Chatham town itself may not be anything special - a typical south-east England town. But there are some places of interest nearby, and Chatham could be a very good base from which to explore and visit other sites on the south coast and even in London.
For example, in Chatham there is the Historic Dockyard, a must for all ages with an interest in naval history. Rochester nearby has the castle, now a ruin but the site of an overnight stay by king Henry the 8th.
Location close to my Daughters home in Rochester 10 minutes away, we had stayed before, although back in 2016 for her 40th birthday, and on this occasion it was also her birthday,, it was important to attend, as my late wife past-away in April 2020, and my 3 daughters have been amazing in giving me support, and this daughter living in Kent 260 miles away for Merseyside has been so supported, so The weekend was a lovely success, we would consider booking this hotel in the future
The room was on the 2nd floor as requested. Thankfully quiet as there was wedding party in for the evening. No road noise either. Pleasant surroundings. Bar service was good and I was served promptly. The person taking my order for an early evening meal got the ordere slightly wrong however, corrected the mistake very quickly. I appreciated that, as I had travelled to the hotel and needed a light meal before going out to a 21st Birthday Party of a family member.
It is a new hotel or May be it is undergoing refurbishment so the outside does not look fantastic but when you step inside, everything is nice, very clean and neat. Staff are very nice. The rooms were big and nice. There were standing fans in the room. The bed was massive and all the sheets were nice and clean. It is worth the money. I will stay there again and I also recommend it to others.
Me and my partner had a lovely stay at the hotel very lovely accomodation the landlord was very welcoming when we got lost he picked us up from the train station which was very helpful we would recommend to come back here again the house was very clean and very nice area and quiet. Thankyou for being so helpful and welcoming. I recommend a thousand star 💫 review
Having stayed here every time we have visited Chatham Dockyard we would not go anywhere else.
The breakfasts are good with a great choice. The selection of cold food matches the quality of the cooked food.
But it is the friendly, professional and helpful staff in all departments that make our stay each time special.
Excellent facilities, furnishings level excellent, this establishment eclipses most 5 star hotels, showering is superb and Ayo and her janitorial team have gone to considerable lengths to make customer satisfaction an absolute.
Well done Chatham Guest House, IMHO, Guest House of the year 2023.
The staff at the hotel were all wonderful and did their best to make us comfortable. The locations was brilliant as we were very interested in the maritime dockyard museum as well as several other nearby points of interest on the South Coast. Motorway access was great.
Not great on arrival but fitting it’s price. However the bed was very comfortable and the shower better than most I’ve seen in much more expensive hotels. There is a discount for the excellent Sultan Indian restaurant next door. Parking at the back was very useful.
Nice small hotel, perfectly situated for the town and 20 minutes walk to the Historic Dockyard. Clean and fresh. Limited free parking. Excellent Indian restaurant attached. If traveling Chatham way in the future I would definitely stay here again. Good experience.
First time staying at Bridgewood, I’ve been there to use the swimming pool and gym facilities and been there for meals in the past so already knew that the hotel was lovely, the nights stay was comfortable and relaxing I wish I could have stayed another night!
Wonderful staff Very accommodating.
We stayed in the deluxe room with River View and balcony. Despite the rooms being above the restaurant and bar, we felt as though we were in a different hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend
One of the best buffet breakfast I have had in a hotel in a long time.
Was very quiet in room while I was there
Full size tv so no wishing you had brought a pair of binoculars to watch the small tv 15 foot from bed as in a lot of hotels
As soon as we walked into the hotel we were greeted by staff with great smile on face. Staff was very helpful and made it easy to check in. When we went to our room was decent in size. Breakfast was delicious. Love to stay here again...
The property is really easy to find via sat nav. situated 5minutes from the Town centre and has a rear off road secure parking area.
Also has an Indian restaurant next door and has 10% off if your staying in the hotel.
It is well located, 5 min walk from the train station, so if you need that location the hotel is fine for a night. It is a basic hotel. Staff was nice and coffee was good.
Chatham itself is a beautiful place and we went to the historic dockyard which was absolutely amazing. So in general it was OK the accommodation let it down!
