The Horse And Groom Inn, hotel in Charlton

In the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, this traditional country inn offers stylish and attractive accommodation; Michelin-recommended food; and peaceful, tranquil surroundings for a relaxing or...

Everything. Kes and her staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The units were spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and happy. We stayed at 7 venues during the month we spent in the UK. The Horse and Groom was by far the best. Indeed, we were so comfy that we just stayed on in the Cotswolds for the remainder of our vacation instead of travelling on to Ireland and Wales as planned. We will be back. .

Old Bell Hotel, hotel in Charlton

England’s oldest hotel (from 1220) in England’s first capital offers quintessentially English service and hospitality.

This place feels really swanky and up-market from start to finish. It is a beautiful old building in a superb location with everything well maintained and spotlessly lean. Staff friendly and efficient and good breakfast. On site free parking is a bonus.

Raglans, hotel in Charlton

Offering a garden and garden view, Raglans is set in Swindon, 19 km from Lydiard Park and 40 km from Lacock Abbey. This guest house offers free private parking and private check-in and check-out.

Location close to the Thames path was good for us as walkers. The entrance on a corner of a fast main road is rather difficult. Probably worth highlighting that for drivers trying to find the place. Fittings were to a high standard with plenty of attention to detail and the needs of the guests.

Cozy hotel and pub. Exactly what we needed after a cold day walking around the Cotswolds. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and warm. We booked a dinner at the restaurant and it was amazing - highly recommend their pie of the day! The room was exceptionally comfortable and breakfast the next day was great as well. I can't recommend this inn highly enough. We are so happy we chose to stay here!

Comfortable quiet cosy room in a characterful place and nice bath rather than the usual shower in most hotels. A lot of thought had gone into providing everything required. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Good location for Malmesbury town centre.

Welcome was lovely - made to feel at home straight away. Loved the room right at the top of the building. Nothing was too much trouble. Kes and partner waited for us to get in in the evening despite the hotel/pub being closed for the evening.

it was like a boutique hotel, they had thought of everything in the room, loads of room , spotlessly clean and all the facilities you could wish for. Staff really accommodating even made me a charcuterie board as the kitchen was closing.
