The staff were lovely, very attentive and helped me when i needed to book a taxi. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy, as were the kitchen and wash facilities.

The location is very central and there is free car parking at the rear of the hotel. The room was a good size and at the front of the hotel as we requested. There is a good choice for breakfast and the quality was good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely quiet location. Only 5 minutes away from a park and ride route into York. Nice size apartment, easily cater for 4 people. The welcome package was a nice touch.

The cottage was beautiful, homely, bright, and clean, with great private parking. The lounge was probably our favourite room, with it's cosy sofas and immitation log burner. There was a lovely pub nearby serving great food, and it was easy to get out to all our places of interest from this handy base. Anita and Tony were extremely helpful and sorted out any issues we brought to their attention. Excellent hosts and a lovely cottage. We'd definitely stay here again.
