The hotel has history and had not only big rooms with an excellent bed they also had a lovely lounge to sit in the evening , excellent food , a cosy bar and the breakfast was good and ample . The service was just brilliant. They even catered for dogs in the garden

The welcoming atmosphere that Ken and Gill create is astounding, they make you feel at home and will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and cared for. It is even difficult to describe their heartfelt kindness and openess. If I go back to Aviemore. I have no doubts I will stay with them. My room was warm and cozy, perfect to spend the night after an adventure in the hills

Beautiful old country house set back in its own grounds. Treated wonderfully by the hosts on arrival and throughout our stay. Room exceptionally clean and breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. Will definitely be back

Cabin design, quality of interior and comfort exceeded both our expectations. The location was really tranquil but also just a 10minute drive to Aviemore in case any amenities were needed. Everything one would need for a short stay was included and we had a great time, wish we could have stayed more!

It was very peaceful.
It was very peaceful. The staff Gina was helpful when we arrived. It was a bit far from anywhere walking. The lodge was adequate and the kitchen was fully equipped. However the cooker was old and while clean wasn’t very nice. Some of the buttons were worn and difficult to use. The heating was adequate. The bed felt hard and too narrow. We didn’t eat out so can’t comment on eating places. However it wasn’t far from Aviemore. We visited the ski centre, Loch Garten and Loch Morlich.AAgnesUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

Carr bridge is a beautiful place, lots of things to do. However my partner and I stayed at the MacDonald Lochanhully resort and it wasn’t the best. Good things to do are; Quad trekking Clay pigeon shooting at Rothiemurchus Zip lining

Nice old fashioned inn; food and drink excellent, great staff, especially Nathan, who went above and beyond to greet everyone at the bar. Despite shampoo and soap issue and noisy plumbing in my room, I’ll be back.

Very good location. On my 20 ti 25 minutes drive to Inverness. Town itself is very beautiful. There is a landmark adventure park nearby and kids would love to enjoy. Lochanhully resort is wonderful to stay with kids.AzerUnited Kingdom

I was greeted by a lovely lady at reception who was very kind and clearly experienced with the public. She even let us check in slightly early. There was also a lovely older gentleman who was dropping off laundry on the morning of our departure and he was again very cheerful and kind, he offered to take our rubbish, so i didn't have to drop it off.PPeterUnited Kingdom
