Ginnie and Andrew are the perfect hosts and will go the extra mile without hesitation to make your stay special. There is so much to do on the site that we looked forward to coming back from our day trips. The hot tubs are some of the best maintained we have seen to date and the pool is really a lovely touch. The communication even before arrival has been so great.

The host messaged me twice before my arrival making sure I had all the information I needed.
There were teas and real coffee and milk and sugar in the kitchen in case we were late or not prepared. Toothbrushes too. Everything was there that we needed and that we could have forgotten.

Cardigan has shops selling locally made arts and crafts. It also has a wonderful Italian restaurant called Mannuccis which had a fantastic gluten free menu. There are plenty of beautiful locations to visit nearby to Cardigan

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent.
Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes.
Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs.
A really lovely range of shops and food places.
A visit to the castle is a must.
The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals.
2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.
Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area.
Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan.
We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Not a great deal in the town and much is shut early in the week including restaurants and bars but there are some gems. The Copper Pot serves excellent food and the welcome at the Black Lion Hotel could not be warmer.
Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.
Travelling through South Wales so only stayed one night but would return and recommend.
Hotel is exceptionally beautiful, what a treat to find this place. Our room was stunning and I could have lived in the spacious bathroom! The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The view amazing, overlooking the gardens. Beautifully prepared breakfast and locally sourced food in the dining room listening to relaxing music. A perfect base to visit Cardigan and some of the amazing beaches which are unspoiled.
There were only three rooms occupied however the other two were nextdoor both ways to my room. One room had their tv on loud till 2am and we're slamming heavy fire doors at 7am with the tv back on. Very thin walls and creaky floorboards and could hear other guests bathrooms and showers. Would have liked the reception manned later, than 7.30pm, although the two staff lived on site to ring for assistance. Good location for visiting areas we wanted.
Central location in Cardigan town. There was no on-site parking but plenty of nearby carparks. The hotel is quite historic and therefore the rooms are a bit dated but fine - clean, tidy with adequate facilities for a one-night stay. The cooked breakfast the next day was plentiful with quality fresh ingredients: cereals and juice were also available. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked reasonable in both choice and price.
Lovely room, very comfortable beds. Location was excellent as we were visiting the surrounding area for 3 days. No breakfast available due to Covid restrictions but not a problem. Bonus to have free parking in front of hotel and so close to the town too. The owners were lovely and we greeted by both at various times of the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Also gave us details of where to visit in the area.
No one can dispute this hotel has some of the best views and enjoying breakfast, dinner or just drinks overlooking the magical Cardigan bay is probably worth tens times what the hotel actually costs for a night's stay.
I am a returning once local resident and this view is awe inspiring. An indulgent breakfast is a highlight as well as an hour in the spa - gratis. Can't recommend the hotel highly enough.
Not quite sure what we expected at this hotel but WOW it was fantastic, we were given a free upgrade to sea view room which was luxurious and spotlessly clean, to just sit at the bay window and admire the coast and scenery was idyllic. Dinner was excellent and so glad we didn't over eat because breakfast was generous and tasty, thanks to all the staff and look forward to a return trip
This is an individual style of property, literally a stone's throw away from the town centre and with easy access to public parking nearby (also limited property owned parking). It has a great historical feel whilst being equipped to a very high standard. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garden area and our own boutique style private seating area.
The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.
We really enjoyed our stay at Flambards. Very friendly helpful staff, comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Excellent meal at the restaurant, best we have had in Wales on holiday so far! Big parking area, and I just really liked this place - just five minute drive to Cardigan town centre.
Quick check-in and friendly staff, good location of the hotel, nice breakfast (also considerate of gluten-free wishes), nice to have a bar as part of the place :) generally recommended if you want to experience a classic 'Inn'.
It was well presented and spotlessly clean a perfect base to visit key sites in the Cardigan area of Wales🤩
The communication with the proprietors was swift and positive nothing to much trouble🤩
Location with stunning views. Just a short trip by car to Cardigan town centre or the local beach. A warm welcome to a relaxing and peaceful setting. Nice and clean and tidy.
