Burnley and surrounding area was not particularly what I hasd hoped for , it seemed to be very "run down" , actually decideded to leave Burnley and headed to Skipton , a much more visitor friendly experience. On the second day wanted to explore the heritage museum but this was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays , so we explored Newchurch in Pendle for the Witch shop the decided to head to the Yorkshire Dales.

We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley. As we have family living in the area, we've visited fairly regularly. The countryside around is beautiful. On previous occasions we've visited a National Trust property and other venues, chosen by them.

Went for a wedding in Bacup hotel was in a good location for us. Went by car but looked like there were plenty of bus options. Ate at reception so didn't try any of the local eateries but seemed plenty of places to choose from.
Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurants, amazing staff especially Rudolph who held an umbrella for me whilst my husband went to get the car. We had problems starting our car and Rudolph sorted everything fir us and got us to our wedding on time . Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back again from Wales to visit family and friends 😊
Very easy to find. Good parking. Very warm welcome from the check in staff and concierge. The hotel is new, and immaculate. I used the gym which is currently being extended. Loads of cardio and resistance equipment available. Food at the Lounge was tasty, and the service was good. My room was immaculate in all aspects, with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. (I always like to have an iron in the room, and a tv with a sleep timer.... little things but very welcome!)
Lovely hotel with spacious public areas and very smart appearance. Excellent facilities at the nearby spa, pool and leisure facility. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with spacious ensuite facilities. Comfy beds and quality bed linen. Very good breakfast with wide range of hot and cold dishes served in Wilfred's restaurant. Dinner for 16 arranged in the Coppice Suite of Bertram's Restaurant which provided excellent food and brilliant service.
Lovely place to stay. Booked it last minute for a birthday treat. Cosy bar area, with log burner. Small and friendly. Only 6 rooms I think, just the type of place we like. Super friendly and helpful bar staff. Food really delicious. Everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked lovely. Would definitely return. Already planning next visit! I would imagine it gets really busy in summer tho, but a perfect winter break for us
Had a lovely stay here. House was very cosy and clean, bed very comfortable. Host was very helpful and very quick to respond if we ever needed him. Good central location to Burnley, some good places to eat nearby we had chinese and banny's fish and chips which were very local. Also near to Pendle Hill and surrounding areas, all of which are worth a visit. We felt that the house was like a home from home.
the hotel was a beautiful character country house with many original features and lovely surroundings. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and the dining room had amazing decoration with a beautiful Italianate ceiling. The bar area was nice and cosy with plenty of comfortable sofas. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
This is a unique hotel, not your standard corporate hotel. The lounge/bar was a good place to meet up in the evening and it had cards and scrabble which made for a fun night. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was lovely. Staff were friendly. The view from our room was of Pendle Hill which was lovely.
Extremely central to the town, yet hidden in a quiet, safe side street. So
much better than a hotel room - lounge with kitchen area, cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer; bedroom with comfy bed; lounge area and TV with Netflicks etc.; lovely clean shower room.
The property was about a mile walk from the Burnley football stadium. There were two bedrooms and it was perfect to have a bedroom with 3 single beds for our 3 kids! The downstairs was very nice and equipped! The host was extremely helpful and responsive when I had questions!
Nice location not too far from Burnley town centre with train stations nearby. 3 bus routes also are a few minutes walk away.
Room was nice and clean upon arrival. Not too bad for where I needed to be as part of my job and business trip. I think I would stay again.
Lovely little cottage, with everything you could need for a warm comfortable and relaxing stay.
Picturesque location with easy access to Burnley, Blackburn, or out into the beautiful Lancashire countryside around Pendle hill.
Was lovely to get away and be able to stay in this lovely hotel. Staff were friendly, furnished to a high standard, very clean room, breakfast was good and setting is beautiful. Just loved my stay here and will be back.
It was immaculate! Decorated to a very high standard.Great location ..slap bang in Burnley town centre. All the different codes for doors were a tad confusing but got there in the end x
It was so clean, modern and easy to stay there! Everything we needed was in the room (oh except glasses/ice) and there was plenty of room to move. The bed was comfy
Very nice atmosphere, the people who own it are very very welcoming and accommodating, amazing place to stay and would highly recommend. An amazing little hotel
