The receptionist guided us to the parking close to the hotel - it was amazing, just close the door on the car park and open the hotel door straight into reception. A brilliant location with views across to the Tay Road Bridge.

I was a nice treat for us to have table service for breakfast. And both breakfasts were very good. Our waitresses were helpful and professional. I appreciated the option not to have the room cleaned, as for a 2-night stay it's not necessary. The free drink as a thank you was a pleasant surprise.

The shower was mouldy around the bottom. The duvets were hardly big enough for the single beds. Biggest problem was that the ground floor bedroom was on the street level and as the hotel bar closed at 2am all those passing were loud and disruptive. We didn’t get to sleep till gone 3am. I know the bar can’t control the noise of customers on the street but when you’ve been told it’s a quiet room it’s very annoying. On the plus side the staff and food in the bar was good.

A pleasant town which must be very good in summer.
A pleasant town which must be very good in summer. Easy access to main forms of travel and visiting surrounding areas. Dined at The Ship Inn which was very good and also the Glass House Pavillion for morning coffee/breakfast. Parking was problematic at times owing to the nature of the streets but was manageable.

Beautiful, bustling town full of welcoming people.
Beautiful, bustling town full of welcoming people. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink as well as an array of gift shops, many celebrating local produce or local artists. Also great for the kids, the park at the castle is fab and there's also pottery painting and a variety of other things to do. Would highly recommend a visit here! I also got my hair done while I was visiting at Freedom Hairdressers, they were fantastic! Special mention to the lovely Erin who created a beautiful hairstyle for me for a wedding I was attending, it stayed in all day/evening and I had lots of compliments on it!

This is a nice little base to either stay local and enjoy the lovely little eateries and pubs and coastal walking or to travel out to other resorts north and south of the Tay.
Forgans is superb for a special treat and The Anchor and The Ship are cosy and offer real hearty food and service. The Pavilion to the east of the centre travelling further away from Dundee is a fabulous coastal stop off for light food and a beer.
Location was perfect. Close to shops and all amenities including bus route and train station. Plenty places for dining and also take out places and a M&S food store within walking distance. Short walk to playground and beach. Spacious apartment. Liked the ensuite plus a family bathroom. Great view over the water from the upstair bedroom. An added plus having a parking place as Broughty Ferry is always hard to find a parking spot. Very clean. Had a washing machine. Great for a family.
The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Just a short drive some to downtown Broughty Ferry. There are several units in the house but you'd never know it. It's was a great place to set up base as it's just a short to drive (~1hr) to both Edinburgh and Aberdeen with Dundee just a few minutes down the road... it's also a good starting points farther north.
Was in a quieter location but within minutes walk of pubs , restaurants and shops . No set parking but found a space easily enough . Ilona our host was fantastic, the lovely gifts all the homely touches it’s a definite wow 🤩 factor . Much better than a hotel room as separate living area . Will definitely
Stay again .
Quiet and short walking distance to the centre of Broughty ferry. Was staying here as I had recently sold my property and currently looking for another in the same area. Needed a minimum of two bedrooms for my daughter who is at school in the area. Very clean, comfortable and Grove Road has always been a quiet street.
Excellent quiet location near the beach and within walking distance of all restaurants and shops in Broughty Ferry and buses into Dundee, generous provision with washer and dryer, good sized flat, generally well-cleaned.
Cottage is located up a steepish hill so the views over Broughty Ferry were brilliant. The mix of seating areas outside provided the option of together time or alone time. All with fabulous views. Very peaceful
The apartment was close to Dundee and not too far from Edinbrugh. Nice bonus to have a washer, dryer, and refrigerator. The beds were comfy with enough room for our group. The town of Dundee was adorable.
Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in an excellent location. I lived in Broughty Ferry more than 50 years ago and it was lovely to go back and see it again. Arrived to a lovely welcome pack.
Fantastic location in the centre of Broughty Ferry. Lots of space for all the family (6). Everything you could want for a lovely weekend away with loved ones. Fantastic view over the river.
