Just an overnight stay. However there was room in the car park, we arrived after 10pm. The staff were cheerful at check in. The room was nice with 2 double beds. It was nice and quiet. I didn't actually visit Brentwood but rather Southend and Basildon, this location was ideal as it was just of the Motorway which allowed me to easily drive in and out of areas of Essex and still get back to my hotel with relative ease.CharlieUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Everything was very clean and if you have a problem to sleep on a soft and comfortable bed then the bed in the hotel is very good for you. It is a pity I did not get much time to walk around due to my training but I have enjoy my stay.

Excellent housekeeping with squeaky clean bathroom - good towels. Ambience of hotel is pleasant with a decor which is a blend of the old with new. Rather good photographic prints of the property, which has an interesting back story ,when a private residence can be found on the walls - worth a second look. All staff encountered very pleasant and table service particularly good. Food - good :)

The hotel has a real Christmas atmosphere, beautifully decorated.. we have stayed and booked the restaurant before for a number of years. The staff are friendly and the food is we presented and tasty. The staff seems a little thinned out from previous years but in the current economical climate not unusual. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during the stay I this little historical gem!
