Beautifully designed and so hospitable! Ian was super helpful with directions and parking and kindly showed us around when we got there. The B&B itself is gorgeous, they’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the design and final/personal touches which just made it 👌🏻

Service was top notch from the off. I was greeted at the door following parking. Breakfast was easy to book. Recommendations were given for food and I was extremely grateful for this as the pub I visited was incredible. Rooms are spotless and breakfast set me up for the day. Don't be put off by not having a cooked breakfast. Fruit and coffee was exceptional. Everything was spot on. Very quiet and Brad was very sociable when it mattered. The room and hotel itself is spotless and maintained to a very high standard. I was worried about parking but there was plenty of spaces. Didn't need car charging but it was offered to me and available.

A very warm and very friendly atmosphere. The food was of a very good standard and served quite quickly. The location was perfect for us, a good central location for the places we planned to visit. Also being on the edge of the moor gave easy access to Dartmoor for walks.

Everything bar the owner, Jeremy. SO Bloody Rude and overstepped my personal boundaries by touching me on my arm without my permission to do so! INNAPPROPRIATE to say the least. He also withheld my refund as requested by my goodself because of the term and conditions laid out in the contract between himself, booking.com and myself. I paid £220 for one night stay at The Horn of Plenty near Tavistock. It is Amazing, however the owner, Jeremy leaves a lot less to be desired. Maybe, dear old Jeremy has to take early retirement and hand the keys to somebody more fitting
to such an establishment, maybe the under manager or the Head Chef. Respect to both of them. Hope to meet you one day. It would be an honor for us all to partake at the HoP!

Ambiance and whole stay experience were way above expected. From the phone call asking me if I’d like to book for dinner in their, what turns out to be, exceptional restaurant to the friendly and attentive staff, rooms styled so well and quality oozing out of every stitch of their fly fishing pedigree

Convenient location, great hosts, lovely food and a clean, comfortable room.
The cottage is very rural with lovely views. We came here for a family wedding in a village close by so it was the ideal location for us. We were only there for a weekend so didn't have time to explore the local area.
The cottage is well equipped and the beds were comfy. Phone signal and wifi not great but OK for us.
Debbie the host was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

A nice olde self-catering unit.
A nice olde self-catering unit. Really quiet, really comfy beds, good heating and shower. A very welcoming and communicative host (Debbie). The bedroom is the living room, so sitting on the small sofa doesn't work for watching tv. The cooker is small and a bit limiting, but otherwise the kitchen and dining area are well equipped, including a microwave, and fridge (with freezer compartment). The wifi is unfortunately very poor. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.
