The Bank House Hotel, hotel in Bradley in the Moors

In the centre of Uttoxeter, this beautiful Georgian building was once the town’s first bank and now offers free parking, a bar and 17 individually decorated en suite rooms.

Breakfast was great and very quick. Fried eggs perfectly done as was everything else. Also a good size. Good bar and beer tasted clean. Bed was comfortable and very clean. Good supply of shampoo and soap and towels were plentiful as well as clean and nicely presented. TV was small but worked well. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were well stocked. Lots of storage around. In the hotel was reasonably quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Shower worked fairly well and pressure wasn't too bad. Within easy reach of all bars and restaurants in town and railway station is about a 10 minute walk. Some really nice bars in town from quiet boutique intimate establishments through to a Spoons. Easy reach to a great Italian, Mario's is quality. If you want a curry or Chinese restaurant then there are a couple within easy walking distance. There's a Costa not far away and a Bear cafe and a Starbucks near the railway station. A good Marstons, Dapple Grey, nearby and probably about a 5 to 10 minute walk with reasonable prices. If you're driving then the A50 is close by but far enough away not to hear it. Road outside is hardly used at night so no disturbance from traffic unless you are very sensitive.

A beautiful apartment set in lovely grounds. The apartment is nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable, clean and has everything you need. It was perfect for walking to the racecourse, where I was working, and walking distance from town with its brewery, pubs and restaurants. It is quiet too. The owners were communicative and helpful.

A lovely quiet location, good for walking and also the potteries also the peak district. National trust properties near by and Tatton Park. Best to check if places are open as some have reduced opening days since Covid 19 lockdown.

A lovely clean and well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural situation. Great base for a walking holiday in the lovely local countryside. Not difficult to find, close to Cheadle where there are plenty of places to eat. There is no internet if this is essential to you, it wasn't a great problem to us. There is no mobile signal downstairs but I did get a signal in the bedroom.
