A converted textile mill (grade II listed) that offers spectacular public spaces and stunning historic fabric. We liked the complex of foodie shops, excellent bars and restaurants (one built around a huge 1910 steam engine that used to drive the looms). There were good rooms, great staff and a setting in the middle of Clitheroe. There's even free, and safe, on-street parking outside.

I couldn't praise this accommodation enough, from start to finish the landlord and his staff were so helpful pleasant and professions. The village is beautiful, room was stunning, rain shower was heaven and some lovely touches, including a breakfast hamper and fresh milk in the fridge. I was by myself travelling for work and they even brought my dinner to the room. Nothing was too much trouble, thank you so much. I will definitely be back !

Breakfast was good. Staff were very young, inexperienced, and not very welcoming. Faulty Towers springs to mind.
