Dunster Castle Hotel, hotel in Blue Anchor

Dunster Castle Hotel is located in the medieval village of Dunster. Free WiFi access is available. All rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower.

The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and my requests for dietary requirements were met. We had an evening meal which again was first class. The room was comfortable. If we booked again we would like a room with a bigger shower space.

Great location. Nicely decorated rooms. Really excellent breakfast. Also liked that it is owned by the YMCA and run as a charity, investing in giving apprenticeships to young people.

The Duke of Wellington Wetherspoon, hotel in Blue Anchor

The Duke of Wellington Wetherspoon is offering accommodation in Minehead. With a shared lounge, the property also features a bar and free WiFi. The units in the hotel are equipped with a kettle.

Exceptional value for money, for a double room at £76 a night, especially over a Bank Holiday weekend, when the West Somerset Railway is hosting its hugely popular steam gala. My room was spacious and reasonably well equipped, with tea and coffee in the room. Quiet too, despite being over a busy pub. Being able to just go downstairs to a restaurant for dinner or breakfast was great too, after walking miles all day! My room had an ensuite shower and bath, with plenty of hot water too. A comfortable bed and free wifi completed the picture. Key card entry to both the rooms and the access corridor was nice to see.

This is my 3rd stay. The house is beautiful with lots of antiques. The rooms are very tastefully and beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfy beds. Keith and Sharon are very welcoming and very friendly. The cooked breakfast is super, plenty of food.

We stayed at this beautiful B&B as we were attending a Wedding, we stayed for one night but wished it could have been longer. Sue the propierter was exceptional and so friendly. When we arrived we were given tea and homemade cake which was delicious. The property was lovely and had everything you wanted and more. The garden also was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out there with our tea and cake. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could think off. We will definitely come back .

Lovely site next to the beach and West Somerset Steam...

Lovely site next to the beach and West Somerset Steam Railway where you can travel by Steam train to Minehead. Also an Open top bus leaves the site every day to Lynmouth. There is a swimming pool on site and a cafe bar with views of the beach. The only thing this site needs is a proper shop, the nearest shop is miles away. Reception sells about a dozen items but it's not enough.

This place is such a gem!

This place is such a gem! The whole process of checking in was so easy. The owners are so lovely and the staff are great. Beautiful views from room 1. I will definitely be returning. A stone throw to the beach. I didn't eat at the pub but the menu looked good and the pub garden is lovely because of the beautiful ocean views.
