I booked a lower cost room and it was great, plenty of room, good facilities, very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. Plus, a lower cost room doesn't mean that the hotel-wide facilities are any less, still a great breakfast in a nice environment (although a bit of background music to break the silence at breakfast might be nice - personal choice only though)

    Loved the room and location….

Loved the room and location…. James was an excellent host, despite me asking him for his name… Every member of staff I had to ask their names… No milk in room despite being promised it would be on our return late that evening.. breakfast was amazing… huge selection of either a continental or full English.. I would DEFINITELY stay here again ..❤️ And look forward to our next visit x

Check when booking your room, room 2 is not for couples unless they have no objection to a toilet in the bedroom. Apart from room 2, the George is a fab place, we will definitely be making a revisit.
