Beautiful house with lots of character. Lovely spacious bedroom and comfortable lounge. Great breakfast with fresh local ingredients. We had a lovely, warm welcome form Catherine and she was happy to talk with us about the history of the local area and to recommend local excursions - as well as to assist with trying to research my family tree!

The place is so quiet and within easy reach of so many popular areas of the country. slieve donard, silent valley, Ben crom, tollymore forest,Newcastle to name just a few. Loved everything about our stay and the b&b itself is excellent, no negatives.

Beautifully situated, excellent amenities, and I was quite happy with my stay. The only caveat is that dinner options, given its rural location, are a bit limited--but that is no fault of the B&B. A car or similar transportation is necessary to reach it from Hilltown, given the narrow road (B27).
